Places to see in ( Liverpool - UK ) Mathew Street
Places to see in ( Liverpool - UK ) Mathew Street
Mathew Street is a street in Liverpool, England, best-known worldwide as the location of the Cavern Club, where The Beatles played on numerous occasions in their early career. Mathew Street is the centre of the Mathew Street Festival, which fills the streets of Liverpool every Summer.
Mathew Street connects Rainford Gardens (off Whitechapel) to North John Street, and is located in an area of the city centre known today as The Cavern Quarter. Historically it was the centre of Liverpool's wholesale fruit and vegetable market. Mathew Street is visited by thousands of tourists a year, who visit the Cavern Club and many surrounding attractions including a statue of John Lennon, a Beatles store and several pubs formerly frequented by The Beatles. A wall in Mathew Street is adorned by a sculpture by Arthur Dooley entitled Four Lads Who Shook the World.
Mathew Street was also home to the influential music club Eric's, which played host to many famous punk bands from its opening in 1976, despite only being open for 4 years. The fame of Mathew Street led to the arrest of 3 men in 2006 when a resident of Dallas, Texas, viewing the street's webcam, saw a burglary in progress and called Merseyside Police.
As a result, a statue of Jung was erected in Mathew Street in 1987, but being made of plaster, was vandalised and replaced by a more durable version in 1993. Today, Mathew Street is one of Liverpool's most popular nightlife destinations.
( Liverpool - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Liverpool . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Liverpool - UK

SimOnTrains first visit to Lapworth Station
Lapworth Station lies between Birmingham Moor Street and Leamington Spa but it also a Station that SimOnTrains hasn't had the chance to visit due to the service patterns.
Thanks to the May timetable change, the chance to visit Lapworth was great as it gain a hourly West Midlands Railway service between Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon via Dorridge. These services used to speed through this location but they now calling at this station using the Class 172 Diesel Multiple Units.
This video is a quick visit to Lapworth to finally tick off a station that I wanted to head to for a very long time!

Blair's Peebles & Visit To New House.
We headed off to Peebles today for a wander around the charity shops. One of Blair's favourite things to do.
Trying out Filmic Pro for a pure amateur point of view and it's great. Still to get to grips with the manual controls, shutter speeds etc but loving learning.

LYNTON AND BARNSTAPLE RAILWAY TIME LAPSE
The narrow gauge Lynton and Barnstaple Railway located on the edge of Exmoor offers a charming and nostalgic afternoon or morning out in the North Devon countryside. Hence the Pathe news style music!
Plans to reinstate the whole route are being thought about. However, what is there now certainly gives a flavour of what it could be like along the 19 mile route.

Exploring the North West by Train DAY 11
Day 11 of my vlog series, Exploring the North West by Train. 27/07/20. Here I visit Pemberton, Orrell, Upholland, Rainford and Kirkby. Enjoy! It was only when editing the vlog I realised I accidentally mispronounced Orrell in one of the clips, which makes it all the funnier haha! I'm also currently working on cleaning my mic holes lol they have become rather sensitive so apologies for any minor sound distortion. It was freezing on the way back - shoulda brought me gloves.
