Virtual walk thought the city and park in Laško, Slovenia

Laško is a spa town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Laško. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The town is located at the foothills of Hum Hill on the Savinja River. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1227 and was granted town privileges in 1927. It is known to have been settled since the Iron Age and Roman archaeological finds are common in the area, though the precise location of the Roman settlement is not known. Today the town is best known for its annual Festival of Beer & Flowers (Pivo - Cvetje) and the local Laško Brewery, the largest brewery in the country.

If chance leads you to Radeče at the end of June, you'll be able to join us at our traditional rafting festival, with its lively series of cultural events and heavy dose of fun.

Capirete che siete vicino a Radeče dalla struttura del ponte di ferro, che si innalza potente sul più lungo fiume sloveno e con i suoi eleganti archi che si estendono per 84 m collega le regioni Kranjska e Štajerska.

Da maggio a fine ottobre sulla superficie liscia dell'acqua potrete ammirare, in tutta la sua magnificenza, la zattera che invita ad un viaggio rilassante e a stare in buona compagnia con gli zatterieri di Radeče. Il gustoso gulasch degli zatterieri sulla zattera è più buono che sulla terraferma, il vino fatto in casa rinfresca anche la gola più secca e il battesimo del pivello, che gli zatterieri accolgono tra le loro fila, rimane a lungo nella memoria. Se il vostro cammino vi porterà a Radeče a fine giugno potrete partecipare ai Giorni delle zattere, un avvenimento già diventato tradizione, con un ricco programma culturale e ricreativo.

Srecno! by Vitkar Zavod - Rdeci Revirji festival, Hrastnik, Slovenia 🌳⚒️⛑

Vitkar zavod, KD Priden možic: Srečno!
The performance of the Fourklor group marks the 20th anniversary of Rdeci Revirji festival and the 200th anniversary of mining. Featuring special guests, the performance occupied the Kompreshaus (which used to be a mining facility). The project is designed as an adventure, as an exploration of an as yet unknown space. After many years of solitude, the place comes back to life with many different bodies in the space. A space that is in itself very specific, diverse, intertwined with beams and metal, and calls for interaction. Artists managed in their own way, with a genre intertwining circus elements, modern dance, humor, and special interventions, to embody the old, mining spirit in a performance called Good luck!.

The project combines aerial disciplines, the rich heritage of aerial dance theater, the poetics of clowning, and the unpredictability of elements of improvisational and street theater.

The end of this experiential evening was marked by a fire show by TROL. The whole space was both literally and figuratively lit!
