Hello friends , Welcome to our channel . In today's vlog we will visiting Narsobachi wadi temple in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra on the occasion of Shree Datta Jayanti. This temple is around 400km from Mumbai and just 48km from Kolhapur.. It gets its name from the presence of 'Shri Narasimha Saraswati', the Purna Avatar of Lord Dattatreya. With a lot of archaeological value this became a major pilgrim spot for many Shri Dattatrey devotee.
It is famous for the Hindu temple of Shri Narasimha Saraswati. Shri Dattatreya in his Narasimha Saraswati incarnation is believed to have lived here for as long as 12 years. The life story of Shri Narasimha Saraswati, his philosophy and related stories are described in Shri Guru Charitra. There are no images or idols here which show his presence but there are two padukas or slippers which immortalize his great avatar.Narasimhawadi also sees the confluence of the two rivers Panchganga and Krishna.So friends if you are coming to Kolhapur, do visit this peaceful and holy place and we hope you all will love this vlog. Overview: Taking one back to the era of Maharaja of Kolhapur, the Rajwada near Raibag in Belgaum District is a beautiful summer palace of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. Located at a scenic location near a big lake, the complex has 2 temples and a small Palace. There was nobody near the area and also the palace complex was in a neglected condition when we visited the place.

In the town of Raibag is the Somanatha temple built by the Chalukyas. The place was mentioned as Poovina Bage by the Kannada Poet Rajaditya who belonged to this place. Other than this, there are some Jain temples and some monuments from the Bijapur Sultanate.

कृष्णा (krishna) नदीच्या काठी वसलेले अंतर्बाह्य सुंदर, सुघड कलाकृती : कोपेश्वर मंदिर (Kopeshwar temple). छोटय़ाशा दरवाजातून आपला मंदिराच्या प्रांगणात प्रवेश होतो आणि समोर उलगडत जातो कित्येक शतकांचा इतिहास.
कृष्णा नदीच्या काठी वसलेले या मंदिराची निर्मिती 'शिलाहार' राजवटीत १२ व्या शतकात झाली असावी. येथील महादेवाचे नाव कोपेश्वर आहे. कोपेश्वर म्हणजे रागावून इथे येऊन बसलेला. दक्षकन्या सतीच्या जाण्याने, तिच्या विरहाने कोपलेला असा महादेव कोपेश्वर. मग त्यांची समजूत काढण्यास काम श्रीहरि विष्णूंनी केले. त्यांचे नाव धोपेश्वर (Dhopeshwar). महादेव शिवशंकर आणि श्रीविष्णू या दोघांचे पूजन येथे केले जाते.
मंदिराच्या गर्भगृहात दोन शाळुंका आहेत. एक कोपेश्वर दुसरा त्याहून थोडा उंच धोपेश्वर.
जवळपास ९०० वर्ष जुने असलेले हे मंदिर म्हणजे भारतीय संस्कृतीचा एक अद्भुत वारसा आहे.
कोपेश्वर मंदिरात अतिशय सुरेख सजावट असलेले १०८ खांब आहेत. यातील प्रत्येक खांब म्हणजे तंत्रज्ञानाचा अत्तुच्य अविष्कारच.
मुख्य मंडपापासून काहीसा विलग. खुला. या सगळ्यावर कळस म्हणजे इथला स्वर्गमंडप (swarg mandapa).
या मंडपाला छत नाही. अठ्ठेचाळीस खांबांवर तोललेल्या या मंडपाला छताच्या जागी मधोमध वर्तुळाकार मोकळी जागा. या आकाशगवाक्षाच्या नेमकी खाली गुळगुळीत काळ्या दगडाची रंगशिळा आहे. गजवैभव व मंदिरशिल्प ही भारतभऱ जाणवणारी जुळणी आहे. येथील गजथरातील पंच्याण्णव मोठ्या हत्तींवर वेगवेगळ्या देवदेवता आरुढ आहेत. दुसरे एक वैशिष्ट्य असे की येथे इतर मंदिरांप्रमाणे नंदी नाही. कोप्पेश्वर मंदिराच्या प्राकारात सोळा प्रकारची कीर्तीमुखे पाहायला मिळतात. शिवालयांच्या प्रवेशद्वारापाशी राक्षसाच्या मुखासारखे एक शिल्प कोरलेले दिसते, तेच कीर्तीमुख. मंदिराच्या मागे भिंतीवर नंदीवर आरुढ शिव-पार्वती शिल्पित आहेत. या शिल्पाच्या एका बाजूला ब्रह्मा आणि दुसऱ्या बाजूला विष्णूही आहेत. मंदिराच्या भिंतीवर असणारी विषकन्या : जिचे विष मंदिराला लागू नये म्हणून हाय हिल्स सॅन्डल घातलेले. इतर कोठेहि न दिसणारी अर्धनारीनटेश्वर बसलेली मूर्ती. मंदीराच्या भिंतीवर कवटीमध्ये कवटीमध्ये भिक्षा मागणारा महादेव पाहायला मिळतो. दरवाजावरील द्वारपालसंख्या मंदिर किती टप्प्यात आहे ते दाखवते. येथे असणारे ५ द्वारपाल मंदिराचे ५ टप्पे दर्शवतात. डोक्यावर कवट्याची माळ असलेल्या ८. ५ फूटी भव्य द्वारपालच्या गळ्यात साप, रुद्राक्ष पाहायला मिळतात. गजव्याल आणि सिहवाल यांबरोबरच मगर आणि मोर यांची व्याल येथे पाहायला मिळते
खिद्रापूरचे हे मंदिर एक न संपणारे गारुड आहे. जे एक व्हिडिओमध्ये कधीची मावणार नाही.
