Imperdible excursión de un día a BREDA, PAISES BAJOS
Hoy nos encontramos en Breda, una acogedora ciudad neerlandesa perteneciente a la provincia de Brabante Septentrional. Su apogeo se dio entre los años 1450 y 1550 cuando se convirtió en uno de los centros culturales y políticos más destacables de los Países Bajos. Como ciudad de residencia de la rama brabantina de la dinastía Nassau la ciudad se desarrolló notablemente. Esto hace que Breda no sólo sea una de las Ciudades Naranjas, sino también la ciudad Nassau por excelencia. Es por ello que no nos sorprende que cuente con un imponente casco histórico, que de hecho se ha ido extendiendo a lo largo de los siglos en torno a su castillo.
En la actualidad se considera a Breda el centro político, administrativo y religioso de Brabante Septentrional y es una ciudad muy interesante para visitar en un paseo de un día.
