SLOVAKIA | TOP 10 PLACES TO VISIT | 4k Drone
Slovakia, landlocked country of central Europe. It is roughly coextensive with the historic region of Slovakia, the easternmost of the two territories that from 1918 to 1992 constituted Czechoslovakia.
The short history of independent Slovakia is one of a desire to move from mere autonomy within the Czechoslovak federation to sovereignty—a history of resistance to being called “the nation after the hyphen.” Although World War II thwarted the Slovaks’ first vote for independence in 1939, sovereignty was finally realized on January 1, 1993, slightly more than three years after the Velvet Revolution—the collapse of the communist regime that had controlled Czechoslovakia since 1948.

Slovakia Travel Guide | Geography | Climate | Nature and Wildlife | GetLostForever.com
Slovakia is a small landlocked state in central Europe with a small population of 5.46 million. However, the nation is renowned for its remarkable history, castles, and chateaux.
The reason for visiting Slovakia is that it is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe and has a lot to offer.
It is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and a brilliant place to visit. In addition, the country boasts mesmerizing nature at its national parks.
It also has a rich culture, an incredible food scene, and fantastic nightlife.
There are towns reminiscent of medieval times, beautiful nature, and a lot of historical buildings. The people are very friendly and kind, even though at the first approach they seem pretty reserved.
The history of Slovakia began before Czechoslovakia was created. Hungary used to rule today’s Slovakia during the 11th century. This is why Slovaks’ ancestors are known as the inhabitants of Upper Hungary.

Presov and Bardejov | Slovakia 2016
Presov and Bardejov were two small towns that I visited during my trip to Slovakia during the summer of 2016.
Presov is a small yet picturesque town with a little more than 90k people living in it but it feels much more smaller than it would seem.
The old town square is lined with historic buildings buit in Baroque, Rococo, and Gothic style and right in the center is a large church that dominates the entire square area.
The historical area of Presov is quite small and most of it can be seen in just a few hours.
Bardejov is another extremely picturesque and quaint town in eastern Slovakia.
It's a UNESCO town with just 30k people living there and one of the nicest towns I was able to visit in Slovakia.
Bardejov is also quite small and it's possible to explore the old town in just a few hours, making it easy to visit both Bardejov and Presov in the same day by car.
