We were so lucky to be recommended hiking Congost de Mont-rebei in Catalonia and it turns out to be our best thing to do in Spain. You can do it on the Aragon side but we explored the Catalonian side. After another night in the car we came to a must see hidden gem in Spain. The hike took in total 8 hours but was worth every step. The blue water of the river running through was breathtaking as was the trek trail itself. This place is so far off the tourist trail and beaten path and collectively we saw about 3 people the whole day. If you want to feel like you are discovering some hidden place like an old fashioned adventurer, this is the one for you. In this Spain travel video we hopefully capture why it is worth coming to Spain for Congost de Mont-rebei alone.

Le Pradet est une commune française située dans le département du Var, en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Située à 57 km de Marseille, 13 km de Hyères et 8 km à l'est de Toulon, Le Pradet est limitrophe de La Garde à l'ouest et au nord, et de Carqueiranne à l'est.

I really wanted to take a break from riding and rest for a day or two but the rain was coming so I had to run away.
I took the highway but got bored pretty quickly and headed towards the mountains, with the curvy roads, bridges, cute villages and beautiful views 😍
The sky was looking dramatic, and it was the coldest day so far, way colder than Andorra. The sun really makes a big difference.
But the multiple layers of clothes and grip heaters saved me from freezing, and the views kept me entertained for the whole day.

Tiny Tour | Prades Spain | Visit the Red Town in the Prades Mountains 2020 July
Prades is a Spanish municipality in the Catalan region of Bajo Campo , Tarragona . According to data from 2017, its population was 599 inhabitants. It is also known as Vila Vermella (red town) because of the reddish sandstone that characterizes part of its buildings and is geographically located in the Prades Mountains.
It is believed that the Arabs built a castle here, fortified in 1090 to prevent the advance of Ramón Berenguer III's troops. It was granted a population charter in 1159 by Ramón Berenguer IV. In 1200 it already had its own market, which shows the importance of the municipality.
The parish church is dedicated to Santa María, in a Gothic style with a single nave and a Renaissance façade. In front of one of the side doors is an old 13th century cross. About two kilometers from the center of town there is a hermitage dedicated to the Virgen de l'Abellera. The building dates from 1570 and in 1578 the bell tower was added. It was completely renovated in the 18th century .
The main source of income for Prades is mountain tourism. The population has various facilities that facilitate recreational activities.

We're able to enter Andorra despite not being a VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane) country defined by Singapore, as it was on the 1st & 2nd day of our travel out of our 16 day trip. Hence we still meet the VTL requirements to be in VTL countries (e.g Spain, France) in the last 14 days.
During COVID pandemic, travelling in and out of Singapore is banned and our goal to travel around the world came to a halt for 2 whole years! But during October 2021, when Singapore announced Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) is available with Singapore Airlines, and when several new destination (such as Spain) is available. We jumped on this opportunity to resume our love to travel and wander around the world.
This time round, we set for Spain and it's neighbouring countries/territories. Can't wait to bring you along our EPIC adventure after so long!

UNE BELLE ROUTE TOURISTIQUE - Les Gorges de l'Aude, Circuit Col de Jau
La D14, une belle route touristique à suivre de Prades en direction des Gorges de la Pierre Lys et des Gorges de Saint Georges en passant par le col de Jau. Départ de Prades, ville située dans les Pyrénées Orientales à une trentaine de kilomètres de Perpignan sur la N116 direction Font-Romeu Andorre.
Cette vidéo développe le trajet sur cette petite route départementale D14, très étroite à certains endroits, qui mène du village de Mosset, prés de Prades, aux Gorges de l'Aude. Traversée de villages authentiques, nature vierge, col de Jau, gorges et défilés magnifiques en font tout un intérêt.
Trajet suivit dans la vidéo: Mosset par la D14, Sainte Colombe sur Guette par la D17, Axat par la D118 et 317, Saint Martin Lys par la D117.
