Superando a Serra da Arrábida, desta vez, viemos conhecer aquela que foi eleita em 2010 como uma das sete maravilhas naturais de Portugal: a Praia do Portinho da Arrábida.
Os tons de azul e verde das águas e o contraste com a vegetação preservada da montanha fazem desse lugar um refúgio incomparável na região metropolitana de Lisboa.
A Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Arrábida, do século XVII, se faz presente, enriquecendo ainda mais esta hipnotizante paisagem. Atualmente, a estrutura abriga o Museu Oceanográfico.
O Portinho da Arrábida não é só pra quem curte ficar na areia pra pegar sol. Este local também conta com pelo menos 6 restaurantes, além de ser muito favorável às práticas de stand-up paddle, caiaque e mergulho.

A água é fria, mas limpinha, em tons de verde e azul. Tinha muito vento e algumas pessoas tomando sol de moletom…rsss.
Comemos choco frito, que é um prato típico da região, parecido com a lula. E tomamos uma Sagres, cerveja daqui, e uma Bandida do Pomar, sidra!

Portinho da Arrábida beach is a small beach located next to the small village of Portinho da Arrábida , in the municipality of Setúbal , in Portugal . It is part of the Arrábida Natural Park and situated at the foot of the Serra da Arrábida between Alpertuche (to the west) and the beaches of Creiro [ 1 ] , dos Coelhos and Galápos (to the east).
It is a rocky beach, being more sandy as you go east (towards Setúbal). It consists of a bay of calm and transparent waters, great for diving . To the east, the beach widens, always accompanied by the green slopes of the Arrábida mountain range . On the west side are the restaurants.

Walk around to explore the beautiful views of the city and try delicious food. My younger brother visits over a weekend. While he visits we go to the Lisbon Aquarium (Oceanário de Lisboa), the largest indoor aquarium in Europe. We end his trip with a catamaran boat ride on the Tagus river. Giving us stunning views of Lisbon and monuments.
