Dominica Chronicles: Bubble Beach, Soufriere, Dominica 🇩🇲

My first night in Dominica, we headed out to get some local food from Teacher's and headed to Bubble Beach.

Bubble Beach has that name for a reason. Bubbles rise up from the mineral ocean floor due to the fact that the area sits on top of a crater. Dale Mitchell ak Mr Bubbles set up a small and comfy area for locals and guests alike. While there is no entry fee, persons are encouraged to leave a tip.

It is perfect for sunrise and sunset or just to hold a meditation.

While many islands in the Caribbean might have a volcano, Dominica has NINE! That's hot!

Dominica | Breakfast at Jungle Bay

In this vlog, we enjoy our first morning’s breakfast in Dominica, the Nature Island of the Caribbean. As Caribbean natives, ourselves, we really enjoyed this breakfast. Come along with us, and let us know in the comments what foods, fruit, etc. you already know or would like to try.

* Please DO NOT CONFUSE DOMINICA WITH THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC*
The Dominican Republic is a major tourist destination in the Western Caribbean, and it shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti.
Dominica is located in the Southeastern Caribbean and seems to be far less known or, at least, less visited for vacation.

Let us know if you have any questions about our experience in Dominica, or questions about our cruises and/or traveling in general.

Dominica (Part I) - Champagne Reef Snorkel trip

Irie Safari Champagne Snorkel Adventures - We were told the days before had been very windy, and that was why the water was so cloudy. The sun came over the mountain and visibility improved a little. Our guide was very patient and did not rush us at all. She took the time to explain the reef, and we felt we learned a lot on our trip.

Irie Safari Champagne Snorkel Adventures:
It's just a 15-minute drive south of Roseau through the picturesque village of Pointe Michel to the watersports facility at Champagne. Champagne is Dominica's premier diving and snorkeling site and rates among the top five snorkeling sites in the Caribbean. Underwater geothermal springs vent gasses in the form of thousands of warm bubbles giving you a feeling of swimming through a giant glass of Champagne. The reef here is quite spectacular with a myriad of sea life including sponges, lobster, parrot fish and a resident population of hawksbill turtles. You will be outfitted with high quality snorkeling gear and given an orientation of the facility and the adventure that awaits you on the reef. Tours of the reef are led by professional PADI-certified dive masters who will instruct you on the correct use of your gear and brief you on what you are likely to see and experience once in the water. After your tour, enjoy the comfort and convenience of showers and changing rooms, refreshments, a gift shop and our sundeck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

This is the cutest cafe to work #remotely and #brunch in Dominica!

Need to grab a light breakfast or some brunch while in Roseau? Tropical Blendz Cafe'
is the spot!

One of the reasons why I almost always go there is because the food options are for the health conscious.

They use fresh, island-grown ingredients to bring you quality and filling meals. I never get tired of trying out their salads and other vegetarian options (when I feel like I need to go that route). When I took my friends there, I opted for fresh salad with an all green veggie wrap. My friends had 1) Bacon eggs with toast and an 2)A stuffed omelet with toast accompanied by a salad. To top it off, we shared an oatmeal-cinnamon raisin waffle, and also chose a wide variety of tropical, freshly made fruit cocktails and drinks.

I love the fact that Tropical Blendz Cafe makes its own fruit-based waffle syrup. This really added points in my book because I'm trying to lower my sugar consumption, and opting for more natural, healthier sugars really helps.

Anse Coleuvre, Martinique 🇲🇶🇫🇷#martinique #tropical #caribbean #beach #islandvibes

It is located at the foothills of Mount Pelée in the very north of the island. To reach it you have to drive through a tropical forest of narrow going up and down roads spotted with numerous potholes.

Get ready for a 200 metres walk to this secluded and up until recently secret beach. During this walk you will be crossing the waters coming from Cascade Coulevre, you will be passing by a few ruins and voilà this beauty crowned by the coconut trees and nestled between high cliffs is opening in its entire majesty 🌴🥥

Prepare for some awe-inspiring views of the grey band of volcanic sand. Take a breath to admire the lofty rocks embracing and protecting the beautiful sun-toasted beach and the waves crashing in the rocks 🌊🪨

The clear waters full of tropical fish are great for snorkelling, but be aware of the currents as they might be dangerous 🐠🐡

Insel Martinique, Karibik | Strände, Urlaubsorte, Reise, Natur | 4k Video | Martinique was zu sehen

Insel Martinique, Karibik.

- Grand Anse-de-Salines in der Nähe der Stadt Saint-Anne;
- Anse Dufour mit weißem und goldenem Sand im Südwesten;
- Anse Mitán;
-Anse Noir;
- Anse Culevre im Norden der Insel;

Was zu sehen
- in der Kathedrale von Saint-Louis;
-Botanischer Garten von Balata;
- Besuchen Sie die Ruinen der ehemaligen Stadt Saint-Pierre, die 1902 von einer mächtigen Ausbruchswelle erfasst und vollständig zerstört wurde;
- Besuchen Sie das Dorf Mourne - Rouge;
- Besuchen Sie den Blumenpark;

- Auf der Insel gelten französische Gesetze, die offizielle Währung ist der Euro, ein Schengen-Visum ist erforderlich;
- Die Amtssprache ist Französisch, der touristische Kommunikationsdienst ist auf Englisch aufgebaut;
- es ist besser, hier in der Saison von Dezember bis Ende April Urlaub zu machen (die Insel befindet sich in einer Zone seismischer Aktivität);

- Es ist besser, die Währung am Flughafen oder in Wechselstuben zu wechseln, Karten zur Zahlung werden überall akzeptiert;
