Best Places in Calabria
Calabria forms the tip of the boot in southern Italy and is washed by the Thyrrenian Sea on the west side and the Ionian Sea on the east side. The capital of the Calabria region in southern Italy is Catanzaro. In the center of Calabria are the mountains of the Apennines, which reach up to over 2,000 meters. With about 800 kilometers of coastline, Calabria is also an excellent destination for a beach or seaside vacation. But the region has more to offer: Mountain ranges such as the Aspromonte and national parks such as the Sila National Park invite visitors to hike and bike. Ancient settlements or churches and monasteries or excavation sites let you experience history live. Lively coastal towns like Tropea, Lamezia Terme, Reggio Calabria, Crotone, Pizzo or cities like Cosenza invite you to stroll, swim, eat and do other activities. Impressive views of the blue sea or enchanted mountain villages can also be found in many places in Calabria. #calabria #italy #calabriatravelguide #bestplaces

PIZZO, Calabria, Italy / Italia | Beautiful city on la costa degli Dei, the coast of the Gods
Pizzo Calabro cosa vedere e mangiare.
