PUERTO LOPEZ + The Most Beautiful Beach in Ecuador?
Puerto Lopez has changed from a small fishermens town to a popular tourist spot.
We ate some pan de yuca, pan de maiz and empanada de pina in the street, had beer on the beach in Puerto Lopez and then dinner at Noche de Parrilla which has a #3.25 merienda.
Breakfast was at Comedor Michita across the highway where the Puerto Lopez market is on the weekend. Fantastic tortilla de camaron and bolon de chicharron.
Although we wanted to hike at Machalilla National Park and then head to swim at Los Frailes beach the hiking trails were closed. But Los Frailes is known as one of the best beaches in Ecuador and I can see why

ISLA TABOGA, PANAMA: The PERFECT BEACH Getaway from Panama City!
If you are looking for the best day trip from Panama City or a beach escape from Panama City, Taboga Island is the perfect spot! Isla Taboga is located just 20 km from the city. It takes 30 minutes via the Taboga Express Fast Ferry to reach Isla Taboga. Once on the island most people just head straight to the beaches but before we did that we had to explore the island. There aren’t many things to do on Taboga Island other than enjoy the tranquility and the beach but we did find out there are a couple hikes. We ended up hiking to the Cross on the Hill, Cerro del Cruz, and it was intense which you will see in the video. Afterwards we booked it to the nearest Pina Colada and then cooled off on Playa Restinga the main swimming beach in town. We hope you enjoy this Panama Vlog and that this Isla Taboga Travel Guide helps you plan your trip there! #panama #panamacity

Bike Ride to Cantel and Boca de Camarioca, Varadero, Cuba
Most tourists will not venture outside the Varadero peninsula as it has many things to do - 20 km of white sand beach, caves to explore, dozens of hotels from 1-5 star, tonnes of restaurants & bars, the dolphin park, and more. However, if you head across the bridge at the western end of the peninsula, and pass through the less touristy town of Santa Marta you can immediately begin exploring rural Cuba.
This video is a short one of the road from Santa Marta to Cantel a sleepy town of a few hundred people. Then on to Camarioca, and Boca de Camarioca which is a small fishing village on the highway between the airport and Varadero.

Que Te Parece Cholita
Charlie Musselwhite
Featuring Cuarteta Patria: with Eliades Ochoa
From the Album: Continental Drifter (1999) Release date: 4/20/99
Chorus : Que te parece, Cholita, Que te parece?
Que te parece, Cholita, Que te parece?
I think my baby loves me, She loves this highway too,
When she needs to ramble, .
(What do you think Cholita?)
My baby needs to ramble. She needs that open road. She'll drift from town to town,
long as she's feelin' low.
(You know that's right baby. Just a sad-eyed girl with a driftin' heart)
Think my baby's getting restless, She'll soon be gone again.
She knows I'll catch up with her. Can you tell me where or when, Cholita?
(Yeah man that girl can be hard to find sometimes)
We think some day we'll find the road that'll take us all home.
Then we'll all be happy, no more need to roam.
(You know what I mean baby. There she goes on down the road)
Maybe she went home to Memphis; She loves that southern breeze
Or down to Mississippi, Lookin' for a life of ease.
(I know you're out there baby, and I'm steady on your trail)
I might look down on the border. We had us some fun for a while.
The spat we had in Laredo, things got a little too wild.
(Gonna get rough on ya - you better watch out)
Some people travel for business, Others just to look around.
When you're on a dark road, the truth it can't be found.
(She's always got a bag packed and ready to go)
Let's go down to Cuba, hear Cuarteta Patria play.
We'll enrich our hearts with a memory we'll have the rest of our days.
(C'mon baby let's go...)
Boca Chica Beach, anto Domingo Province, Dominican Republic, North America
Boca Chica is a municipality of the Santo Domingo province in the Dominican Republic. Within the municipality there is one municipal district: La Caleta. As of the 2012 census it had 123,510 inhabitants, 70,184 living in the city itself and 53,326 in its rural districts. Boca Chica has a popular beach with the same name, located about 30 kilometers east of Santo Domingo de Guzmán in the south shore of the island of Hispaniola. Boca Chica was originally developed by Juan Bautista Vicini Burgos, who established sugar plantations there in the early twentieth century. Vicini was very fond of the place but the golden era of Boca Chica was in the 1950s, when dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo ordered the construction of a modern hotel named Hotel Hamaca, which subsequently became something of an icon. The hotel got all the more famous because it was there that Trujillo granted asylum to Fulgencio Batista after the Cuban Revolution. The Hamaca was closed almost immediately after Trujillo was killed in May 1961, and it remained closed and abandoned for more than twenty years. It was reopened in the early 1990s. During the 1950s and the 1960s, prominent families of the Dominican Republic built several summer properties along the beach only accessible by private transportation. After the 1970s, the beach became more and more popular and public transportation helped to make Boca Chica a very populated beach; it was no longer secluded and quiet, as it had been during the '50s and '60s. The short distance from the capital city, the crystalline waters and the white sands turned Boca Chica into the most crowded beach of the Dominican Republic, especially on weekends and holidays, because is 19 miles (30 km) away from Santo Domingo. Boca Chica has two small islands, Los Pinos and La Matica, and two marinas. Boca Chica beach has immaculate fine sand. You can walk in the water and the depth will barely change, the water will be to your waist (or a little bit over) all the time. It's the most family friendly of all the Dominican Republic beaches[citation needed]. There are lots of bars, restaurants, pizza stands, souvenirs stalls and loud music all day long; all this along the beach sand very close to the shore. In recent years, the town has become overwhelmed with tourists from North America and Europe, especially during the months of December through April[citation needed]. It is one of the better places to enjoy swimming in the warm Caribbean waters. In the evening, Boca Chica transforms itself into a town of party bars and prostitution.
