Albay is a province located in the Bicol Region in southeastern Luzon of the Philippines. Its capital is the city of Legazpi, the regional administrative center of the whole Bicol Region, which is located in the southern foothill of Mayon Volcano, the symbol most associated with the province.

Albay is the region's principal trans-shipment point with its ports: Tabaco International, Legazpi National, Pio Duran Provincial, and the Pantao Regional Port.
By air
Traveling to the province by air is served by the Legazpi Airport, the province's gateway from Manila and Cebu City in the Visayas. The larger Bicol International Airport is under construction in the municipality of Daraga, west of Legazpi City.

I'm Reymund Lara, a passionate Filipino educator currently on a thrilling adventure in Japan! From October 2023 to March 2025, I'm expanding my knowledge as a MEXT Teacher Training Scholar. This program allows me to refine my Filipino language skills at Tokushima University and delve into educational research at Naruto University of Education.
My journey as an educator began over a decade ago, teaching elementary school in my hometown of Passi City, Iloilo. The Villa Miranda Farm Resort is an emerging farm tourism site in Municipality of Libon, Albay. The said farm boasts a vineyard, said to be the first in Bicol Region that harvest locally-grown grapes. Aside from grapes, farm yields include guapple (apple & guava crossbreed), strawberry and the edible oyster mushroom. The farm is also adjacent to Mt. QUIASOG, a potential tourist destination which has rolling hills perfect for camping, trekking, a rock formation for climbing, sightseeing, several unexplored caves as well as beaches for swimming. The farm is now in full operation, having several rooms, swimming pool, meeting hall and restaurant.
The grapes are ready to harvest by third week of October which coincides with the annual fiesta celebration of Brgy. Macabugos, Libon, Albay.
Mt.. Quiasog is a potential tourist destination in Libon, Albay. The area is ideal for several activities such as mountain climbing, trekking and camping since it has rolling hills, rock formation and several caves. It also boasts a view of the surrounding villages, forests as well as the coastal areas of Libon. The site is also adjacent to several attractions such as the beaches along the West coast of Albay and a grape farm. It is expected to open opportunities such as employment and livelihood to the people residing within the neaby barangays.
