The Wandering Broker at the Grand La Palmera Mountain Ridges

The Grand La Palmera Mountain Ridges
Sucob Columbio, Sultan Kudarat Philippines

How to get there?
Using a private vehicle. You travel from Davao to Datu Paglas via Makilala Road. But since we traveled from Davao to Kidapawan we passed by Kalaisan and then to Mlang North Cotabato then to Tulunan then to Datu Paglas.

When you arrive Datu Paglas Round Ball, go left and then just continue driving about 10 kilometers or a little bit more. Then you will see a signage welcoming you to La Palmera Mountain Ridges.

There's a fork, when you go right, it will lead you to the market place if you will have to buy some groceries. When you go left, it will be the start of your 5 kilometer bumpy ride to the Ridge. SUVs, Pick ups and other 4x4 vehicles can reach to the ridge. If you are using a smaller vehicle, you can leave your cars at the Barangay Hall and hire a motorcycle to bring you to La Palmera.

Entrance Fee 50 pesos
Parking Fee 10 pesos
Tent Fee 150 pesos

So saan aabot ang 210 pesos mo? Dito sa The Grand La Palmera Mountain Ridges.

We hired a local tour guide so we can maximize our trip here and we can visit other places also. Just let me know if you want to hire a local tour guide.

Philippine Bird Festival 2018 in Tacurong City

A unique attraction in Tacurong City, this site was formerly a black pepper plantation. Today, this 2.5-hectare land is home to over 20,000 wild migratory birds such as cattle egret, black-crowned night heron, great egret, and rufous night-heron. For bird watchers, the place is a must-visit due to the sheer number of birds living here. The land belongs to the family of Rey Malena, who in the mid-nineties, spotted four egrets in their peppercorn farm. The birds found the place peaceful and eventually sought refuge in the area. More birds started coming to their farm, until it became more of a bird sanctuary than a place to grow peppercorns. On 2002, the city government declared Baras Bird Sanctuary an ecotourism destination.
