In this video myself and Dinesh will be taking you through Pavagada Fort area. We documented this on January 1st 2023. We started the trek to Pavagada fort early morning to catch a 1st sunrise of 2023 and use the 1st light to photograph fort area and town. We travelled extensively throughout Tumakuru District to document one of the best landscape, fort's, ruin's, prehistoric site in Karnataka.
All the photograph's and video has been taken with all the necessary documentaion and permission's from Forest, DC office and ASI for the project.

Pavagada is situated in the Tumkur district of Karnataka, approximately 185 kilometres from Bangalore. The fort here was built in 1405 by by Gopanna, a general under the Vijayanagara king Devaraya I.

Though it is geographically connected to Chitradurga district inside state of Karnataka, it comes under Tumkur district. It is 157.8 km from state capital of Bangalore and Uttara Pinakini river flows in this Taluk.
The town is famous for its fort located on the hill, Kote Anjaneya temple at the foothills and also the temple of Sri Shani Mahatma.
Pavagada Solar Park, which will be Asia's largest Solar park, is coming up on a 10,000 acre land with the capacity to generate 2000 megawatt solar electricity. It's promoted by GV Balaram . Telugu is widely spoken language followed by kannada. Peanut was the main crop which used to be grown in various parts of the taluk.due to constant drought, people left their agrarian works and migrated to Bangalore for livelihood
Pavagada is well-connected to other places in India. It has KSRTC & APSRTC buses which connect to other places of Karnataka and neighboring Andhra Pradesh. There is a railway station being built in Pavagada under the project of Rayadurga-Tumkur Railway Line. This railway will connect Pavgada to Bangalore to Bellary via Tumkur and Rayadurga.
