The Catania fish market umbrellas art is a public art project that was created by the Italian artist Davide Dormino. The project consists of a series of umbrellas painted in bright colors, which were installed in the main square of Catania’s fish market. Each umbrella is painted with a different design, featuring images of sea creatures and other marine-related motifs. The project was commissioned by the city of Catania in 2011 and was completed in 2013. The umbrellas have since become a popular attraction in the city, attracting visitors from all over the world. They are a symbol of the city’s vibrant culture and its relationship with the sea.
