The Orting Valley Farmer's Market is located at the picturesque North Park along Calistoga Street. It's the perfect spot for a weekend stroll! The market is open every Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore after work or school.
Here, you'll find a variety of fresh fruits, veggies, handmade crafts, and even some delicious baked goods. We had such a blast chatting with the vendors – they're some of the friendliest folks around! Whether you're looking for farm-fresh produce, unique gifts, or just a fun way to spend your Friday evening, this market has got you covered.

Things To Do At Washington State Fair
Washington State Fair ( formerly known as the Puyallup Fair ) is one of the biggest fairs in the world, and the largest in the Pacific Northwest !
If you're visiting Washington state in early September, it should be on your must do list ! ( the shorter vision of the Fair is also held every April )
Fairgoers have been “Doin’ the Puyallup” since 1900 and since then, the Fair offers non-stop fun with something for everyone !
You’ll love all the decadent food, animals and agriculture displays, and tons of free entertainment. There are wild rides for thrill seekers of all ages, including our classic wooden roller coaster, built in 1935.
Hands on learning is paramount for kids of all ages, with many interactive exhibits in Fun on the Farm, KidZone and Outdoor Adventures. Highlights also include Racing Pigs, Dock Dogs and fireworks select nights.

Orting WA - Old Soldiers-Trails-Volcanos
Orting WA, a town on the prairie, is the Indian meaning. A couple of years ago I made a video about this town and today I'm going back to see what has changed there. Sitting at the confluence of the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers Orting has a special relationship with Mt. Rainier. The increase in their population has driven the need to find an easier way to escape the valley floor in case of a lahar on the mountain. The Bridge for Kids and monthly practice drills are in their plan for a safe future. Come along with us while we drive around the town and see the sights.
