With the largest administrative area in the country, the city of county law can become a significant educational, economic and artistic centre of the South Great Plain region, a city with an intimate atmosphere and a unique character, building on the local landscape and its diverse cultural traditions.

Huge area with lot of swimming pools from thermal sitting pool to fresh swimming pool. Very good restaurants and other facilities. A nice day out. Water temperature in the pools in the range 26-36 C.
In the main summer season it is a very popular place.

If you are a fan of combat sports, the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena will be the place for you between 8th and 10th July, where the best judoists will take to the tatami at the Judo Grand Slam. Combine this unique sporting experience with a little sightseeing.
Krisztián Tóth recommends Heroes’ Square if you like cultural attractions. The House of Hungarian Music is also close to me as a judoist because a Japanese designer dreamed this building up. It has colourful musical events and music history exhibitions throughout the year. Once you have walked around Heroes’ Square, you can head over to the Museum of Fine Arts or the recently opened Museum of Ethnography. In addition to the latter's permanent and temporary exhibitions, you should make time to visit the landscaped roof as well.
