10 Cheapest towns to live in Texas
10 Cheapest towns to live in Texas
Welcome back everyone let’s talk about Texas and where the cheapest place to live might be. Texas has become a hot spot for inward migration for some years now. If you are one of the people thinking about calling a realtor and a moving company. Maybe this video will help you find your new home.
The cheap places in Texas are going to be out of the way small towns. You won't find Houston, Dallas, or Austin on the list. Enjoy
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.

8 Safe Places in Illinois, Where the Homes Are Affordable
Most Americans want to own a home. It's part of the American Dream, but in some places, that's easier said than done. Even within a state, there are places where the average person can't afford a home, and other places that are actually quite reasonable. Another factor when it comes to looking for a home is the crime rate in the neighborhood. So where can you go where the homes are both affordable and in safe neighborhoods? In this video, we're looking at eight cities and towns in the state of Illinois where the home prices aren't too high, and the crime rates aren't insane.

Solar Power in Olney, Illinois
Solar power has been used in the early ages, but this historical marker (put up by the Illinois State Historical Society in 1986) talks about how it was developed in the small town of Olney.
Camping in Olney State Forest
Located on the cusp of the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie you'll find Olney state forest which is home to countless waterfalls and hidden gems.
This is a little highlight reel of our time camping in this forest in our roof top tent.
Any one interested in spending some time here will be glad to know that it is fee free and dog friendly!
If you're interesting in knowing more about this state park make sure you check out our guide for Olney National Park here
Also make sure you find us on IG
Olney, Illinois - famous for albino squirrels
This is one of a few towns in North America with a strange claim to fame: they are famous for white squirrels (or technically known as albino gray squirrels)! A plaque/tablet was placed in Olney City Park that talks about the origins between the animals and the community, dating back to 1902! Olney, of course, pays tribute to those critters with statues around the town, murals, even police officers wear white squirrel patches!
The squirrels usually come out at all times during the year, though sometimes rarely seen in the wintertime.
Old Olney HQ Campground - Olney State Forest, NSW
The Old Olney HQ campground is a large open area next to the road through the forest. There are drop toilets, picnic tables and firepits. You can collect firewood in the forest. There are walking tracks and lots off-road areas suitable for 4 wheel driving. Dogs are permitted.

Episode 11- Watagans & Olney State Forest / Free Camp with Dogs / Waterfalls / SurRon / Photography
The Watagans! In this episode we explore the Wattagans region of NSW. This is a small hilly area between the Central Coast and Cessnock in the Hunter Region. It is split between State Forest and National Park. We free camp in a Pine Forest, check out some amazing dog friendly short walks and waterfalls, take our Sur Ron Electric Dirt Bike for a spin on the trails, explore to find some epic lookouts and Daniel takes some amazing landscape photography art images at Boarding House Dam in the National Park section. This highlights one of our favourite free off grid dog friendly campsites in New South Wales to date.
