Oban's name comes from the Gaelic language and means'little bay,' but when it comes to enjoying an outstanding weekend vacation, Oban is undoubtedly a place to visit.The beach town is a wonderful spot to visit since it is located on the west coast and is surrounded by miles of stunning coastlines and gorgeous countryside.Oban, which is divided into north and south, is an excellent travelling base.After you've got your bearings and seen Oban from above, take a walk around the waterfront.The Oban Promenade runs alongside the Oban Esplanade and Oban Bay.
