Nunspeet is a village located on the Veluwe in the province of Gelderland. It has about 21,000 inhabitants and is known for its natural beauty, wooded area and the Veluwemeer.
The village has various recreational opportunities such as walking, cycling, fishing and sailing and therefore attracts many tourists. Nunspeet has a historic village center with beautiful old buildings and pleasant shopping streets. The inhabitants of Nunspeet are known for their hospitality and solidarity.
Every year, various activities take place in the village, such as the Oranjefeest and the Veluwse Markt. Nunspeet also has a rich history as a 'painters' village' where artists such as Jan Mankes and Hendrik Willem Mesdag found inspiration in the landscape. There are several museums dedicated to this.
