Things to do in El Salvador!
I recently had the privilege to visit the beautiful country of El Salvador! I was amazed by the beauty, the infrastructure, the energy, the culture and hospitality. I started my journey in a town called El Congo (near lago de Coatepeque), where I received my open water diving license certification. After that I booked an Airbnb in a town called Antiguo Cuscatlán located in San Salvador. Fortunately I was able to be a part of their 2 day celebration called “Feast of the Holy Innocents”, which was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to El Salvador to visit during that celebration (December 28th - 29th) . Next day I visited the charming towns of Nauhizalco and Ataco where i got to experience the local lifestyle. The next day I went to the El Tunco beach, which is famous for surfing so I had to take my first ever surf lesson. The last day in El Salvador I did a sunrise hike on the largest active volcano in El Salvador called Santa Ana, which was one of the highlights this trip. Oh and last but not least I fell in love with papusas and gained about 10 extra bounds. I have travelled to a lot of places but people of this country had a different kind of love for their current president! This video will show you the incredible time I had in El Salvador!

A visit to San Salvador is an interesting and exciting experience to say the least! The fact is there's a lot going on in not just the city, but the whole country of El Salvador right now. Most of what's going on is a place that's really improving and making bold and new moves. Visiting right now gives you the chance to witness all of that change and progress, and it's exciting to see!
In this video, we're mainly just talking about our first impressions and not pretending to be experts. Rarely does a place give you so many impressions and observations so quickly. The city has a lot of contrasts. From wide open, quiet residential neighborhoods and fancy, large shopping malls to crowded, loud, bustling markets that are like mazes surrounding the city center. The pace and the prices certainly change from one side of town to the other, but the strong Salvadoran culture is just as strong.

El Parque Cuscatlán está localizado en la ciudad de San Salvador, El Salvador. Es un sitio de esparcimiento familiar, donde constantemente se desarrollan diferentes exposiciones y conciertos musicales, especialmente durante las fiestas patronales de la capital. El parque fue inaugurado en el 1° de marzo de 1939.
CUSCATLAN en lengua náhuatl significa Tierra de Lugares o cosas preciosas.
El Parque fue reinaugurado en el 2020 por El presidente de la república Nayib Bukele junto al alcalde de San Salvador, este parque tiene estándares y un nivel como los de primer mundo, aseguró el presidente Bukele.
El parque está abierto de lunes a domingo y tiene los siguientes horarios:
• Horario del Parque Cuscatlán
• 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Horario interior
• (Parqueo Museo Tin Marin): 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

El Parque Cuscatlán está ubicado en la Alameda Roosevelt, 25ª Av. Sur, 6ª - 10ª Calle Poniente San Salvador. Tiene tres entradas, una ubicada sobre la Alameda Roosevelt; otra por la 25 Avenida sur y la última, por la 6ª - 10ª Calle Poniente.

El Salvador has the best beaches and the people are extremely nice. I could've recorded more but out of respect to the locals, I didn't.
The weather was amazing, the food was awesome and there's so many things to do in the big and small cities. What shocked me the most was how respectful people were to one another in comparison to the US. They all genuinely cared about their community and are far happier people.

El Salvador has a very interesting history from the gangs that controlled the streets, to the reign of President Nayib Bukele fixing all of El Salvador's crime problems. San Salvador is so cool roaming around the central street market, to the historic center. San Salvador has so much energy, through street performers, and it embodies true Central American culture. I always felt safe in every part of San Salvador, and throughout the entire country of El Salvador! I am so glad I finally made it to San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America.

Despite being a relatively new city, Antiguo Cuscatlán has become a highly visited tourist destination due to its boom in modern infrastructure, malls. Santa Elena is the main neighborhood of Antiguo Cuscatlán. Hotel Santa Elena is the best in my opinion because of the location and the price. It's is still popular but thereutside are others wealthy complexes outside of the city now the main reasons it became so attractive was because houses are big, a lot of privacy, good weather and it was very exlcusive. Now it is not only residential but it has a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and offices.
