The park’s main feature, however, is the Lingayen Gulf Landing Shrine, which was built in memory of the Filipino freedom fighters during the historical Gulf Landing in Lingayen. Mount Ulap The View of Luzon in Itogon | Benguet Province, Luzon Island, The Philippines
Let us have a quick tour of Mt. Ulap in Itogon, Benguet, The Philippines
Mt. Ulap Eco-Trail in Itogon, Benguet is the perfect dayhike from Baguio City, only 40 minutes away from Burnham Park by public jeepney. Spanning around 8 kilometres through several peaks along the Ampucao-Sta. Fe Ridge (not to be confused with the Philex Ridge), it is easy enough to be completed from 4-6 hours, making it feasible as a dayhike or even a half-dayhike for hikers of all levels.
The trailhead starts along from the road to Philex in Brgy. Ampucao, but as of December 2015, hikers have to make a 10-minute detour to the barangay hall to register and secure guides (required). The trail goes up a ridgeline that is immediately surrounded by pines, and soon becomes scenic with views of Mt. Sto. Tomas and Baguio City; the perennially mist-covered Central Cordilleras from Ugo to Pulag; and to the south, even Mt. Arayat.

#FindYourselfInTheCordilleras #travel #backpacking The Department of Tourism-Cordillera Administrative Region (DoT-CAR) relaunched the regional tourism brand tagline Find Yourself in the Cordilleras on November 4 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center to ignite and bring back the interest of tourists and look at the Cordilleras as something where they could identify themselves through its indigenous culture, nature and never-ending adventures. Formally opened by the DoT-CAR Regional director Jovy Ganongan with assistance from DoT Assistant Secretary for Special Concerns Kristine Vanessa Chiong-Genegobis, the relaunch featured the travel videos of the different provinces of the Cordillera, Baguio included, with its Breathe Baguio Travel Ad. Ganongan said Find Yourself in the Cordilleras has come a long way in providing branding and marketing identity for the Cordillera region since it was launched in December 2018.

Beautiful sunset in Lingayen Pangasinan. Limahong Channel is located in Sitio Bantayan, Pangapisan Norte in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
It is now one of the famous tourist spots in Lingayen Pangasinan. It is a historic site because it was where the Chinese warlord Limahong, Lim Hong, or Lin Feng, (also known as Ah Hong), escaped to Northern Luzon in 1575 and dug a channel in Domalandan, for his escape to the China Sea. Limahong is a notorious Chinese pirate and warlord who invaded the northern Philippine Islands in 1574.

PHILIPPINES - From Anda Island To Baguio City Benguet
Today philippines vlog see's us driving from anda island in pangasinan to baguio city in benguet province in preperation for panagbenga festival.
we started our 140km drive from anda in pangasinan to baguio which was a long slow drive into the mountains of baguio. There was no expressway for us to use so it was a case of driving through many towns with slow roads and some traffic. Driving up the mountain was really cool with great views and a nice cool temperature which is a welcome change from the blistering heat.
When we arrived in baguio we was greeted by the steepest hills we have seen in a long time, these hills were everywere across baguio so requires good driving ability on hill starts.
baguio has incredible views and you dont have to drive very far at all to find them, the city is very modern for being ontop of a mountain. Many tourists come to baguio so you will not stick out much and kinda looks a little western when you are in the heart of the city. We never expected there to be a city like this in the philippines.
