Just outside Guayaquil in Guayas is the best hotel in Ecuador? Hacienda La Danesa is a contender, this working hacienda has luxury accommodation and is worth traveling for.

Thanks so much to La Danesa for inviting us to stay. We paid for our meals and staff tips. This luxury hotel in Ecuador may not be for all budgets, but if you want to splurge our room was gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful and the staff were so incredibly nice and knowledgeable.

Casa Naranjito is a traditional Costa Rica Style home with great woodwork finishes. Has nice Tico Style kitchen with a breakfast bar, open dining room and large living room. It has 3 large patios, 2 separate patio areas on the main level and a very nice large one on the second floor overlooking the nice garden and jungle landscape. The Casa also has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 10+ comfortably. All rooms have 2 beds a combination of queen and twin beds in each room that can accommodate 3-4 people.
The property has private gated parking, huge professionally landscaped yard, is surrounded by wonderful nature, offers concierge services and many other amenities and comforts of home at this vacation rental property.
Casa Naranjito is newer renovated Costa Rican farm style house. This cute property is just a couple minutes outside a local town called Naranjito, 15 minutes from Manuel Antonio and Quepos Airport. Naranjito is near where most of the local tours start from and a short drive to all the major attractions in the area.
Easy access and close to everything. Short walking distance to a local little grocery shop and a couple bar / restaurants.

Naranjito fue fundado en el año 1824 al lograr su separación de Toa Alta. Las tierras donde se fundó fueron donadas por Don Braulio Morales y Doña Manuela Rivera, siendo entonces Don Braulio su primer alcalde y el capitán poblador.
Ubicado entre los magníficos lagos, ríos y la densa vegetación que conforman el centro de Puerto Rico, Naranjito es un oasis de paz llamado así por el árbol naranjo. El municipio, que cubre 28 millas cuadradas (73 kilómetros cuadrados), está ubicado entre Toa Alta al norte, Bayamón al este y Corozal al oeste. Si bien Naranjito se siente muy alejado del ritmo frenético de la vida urbana.
Si estás en la ciudad cuando juegan Los Changos, el equipo de voleibol masculino del municipio, estás enhorabuena. El equipo es motivo de orgullo para los naranjiteños y se ha ganado la distinción de ser la franquicia deportiva más exitosa en la historia de Puerto Rico. Empaca algo naranja para usar en el juego y encajarás perfectamente con el resto de la multitud que los anima.
Una abundancia de belleza natural
El Guadiana, La Pruda y Abarca son algunos de los muchos ríos que atraviesan el municipio de Naranjito. Estos cuerpos de agua que fluyen libremente crean piscinas tranquilas que son lugares perfectos para relajarse, como el hermoso Charco del Cura. Cuenta la leyenda que quien bebe agua de La Pruda y se baña en el Charco del Cura nunca se irá de Naranjito. Pero después de pasar un tiempo en este extraordinario entorno, es Naranjito el que nunca te dejará.
Lago La Plata ofrece otro lugar popular donde puedes relajarte y desconectar con actividades recreativas como natación, pesca y kayak. Un amplio parque a lo largo de la orilla del lago cuenta con glorietas cargadas de sombra para hacer un picnic.
