Napoleon, Ohio
Napoleon is a city in the county seat of Henry County, Ohio. Established in 1832, and named for French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The Henry County court house is a historic court house. Designed by architect David W. Gibbs it was built in 1880 and is on the National Register of Historic places. The court house is topped with a 1880 statue of Lady Justice. On the outskirts of town at the side of Campell's soup plant stands a gigantic tomato soup can. It's a Icon to see while in the area. Historic downtown has some cute specialty shops, which I enjoyed shopping in. Many of the merchants were very friendly and enjoyed sharing information about there city.

5 Things American Tourists Shouldn't Wear in Europe

Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.

All about Napoleon Bonaparte & his favourite palace in 16 minutes
Today, I would like to give you a brief summary of Napoleon Bonaparte’s life. Also, let me show you the beloved palace of Napoleon I and his journey from an artillery officer to First consul of the republic, then the first emperor of France.
The boy who spoke French with Corsican accent became one of the youngest general of French history, at the age of 24.
In November 1804, when Napoleon was elected as Emperor of the French by a nearly unanimous tally, he commanded a project to restore the palace of Fontainebleau after the French Revolution.
It is the place where he announced the pregnancy of the empress Marie-Louise, and it is where he abdicated in favour of his son on April 4, 1814.
And, on 20 April 1814, after a memorable descent of the Horseshoe staircase in the lower court of the palace of Fontainebleau, the abdicated emperor made his famous farewell speech to his Old Guard before being exiled to Elba.
Napoleon has been regarded as a military genius and one of the most exceptional commanders in history. His wars and campaigns have been studied at military schools worldwide. He fought more than 80 battles of which he lost only eleven, mostly towards the end when the French army was not as dominant.
Please come and see the summary of Napoleon's life and his beloved palace. Let's go! Allons-y!

Bunion Correction 😨 (explained)
What’s that under the Great Pyramid?
💥Join me May 17-28, 2023 for the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt Tour
On the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt tour we were privileged to receive a 2 hour long after-hours visit inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. Upon entering the descending passage, our first big stop was to visit the subterranean chamber - the basement of the Great Pyramid! I was taken back by how long and steep this passage leading down underneath the pyramid was (approx 300+ ft). While the higher passageways & chambers were lined and finished with precision megalithic blocks, the passage leading down was unfinished in that it was cut straight from the bedrock. Once we reached the bottom, the passageway leveled out & we had to literally crawl on our hands and knees through thick pyramid dust the final section (approx 10 yards) before entering the subterranean chamber. This chamber seemed essentially like a big square with 3 levels - the upper level with smallish cutouts or storage type areas, the main level which featured this circular fence, which in turn, sealed us off from the lower level which is a massive pit with a squared out bottom that featured what appeared to be a nubbed circle popping up in the center of it. What do you think the purpose of this pit was? I will share my theories in more videos coming soon… on the far side of the main level was another tight passageway that led to another smallish room.

Napoleon’s Bridge and Oak @ Tiglieto
Not far from the Badia stands the five-arched bridge that crosses the Orba River. At one end of the bridge is an old oak called “Napoleon’s Oak”, declared a monumental tree by the then State Forestry Corps. The name comes from the incision that forms the letter “N” on the bark, proof of the fact that Napoleon Bonaparte passed over the bridge.
