After our previous visit to Mata Ratneshwari Devi Temple, now its time to known the next historic place located at Vishnupuri near river Godavari - Shri Kaleshwar Mandir, with more than 1000 years of history. So here is my attempt to give these divine places some justice in terms of videography.

नांदेडपासून ६ कि.मी.अंतरावर विष्णुपुरी हे गाव शिक्षणनाचे माहेरघर म्हणून ओळखले जाते.आज विष्णूपुरी येथे जलसिंचन प्रकल्प उभा आहे.या गावाच्या गोदावरीकाठी श्री.काळेश्वराचे यादवकालीन मंदिर आहे.या मंदिराचा आधुनिक पद्धतीने जीर्णोध्दार करण्यात आला आहे. पुरातत्त्वीय अवशेषांमुळे व मंदिर रचनेमुळे मूळ मंदिराची रचना समजून येण्यास मदत होते.हे मंदिर त्रिदल असून पूर्वाभिमुख आहे.मंदिराची रचना,गाभारा,अंतराळ,सभाग्रह व प्रवेशद्वार अशी आहे . मुख्य प्रवेशद्वाराव्यतिरिक्त दक्षिण व उत्तर दिशेला अशी दोन प्रवेशद्वारे आहेत. मंदिराचा गाभारा १.८२ x १.८२ मी . चौरस आकाराचा असून अंतराळ २.१२ - १.८२ मी.आहे. प्रवेशद्वार पाच शाखीय आहे. यातील स्तंभ शाखा उठावात असून ललाटी श्री गणेश अंकीत आहे.येथील अधिष्ठानावरील कनीकपोत याशिवाय स्तंभ व छतावर असलेली भौमितिक नक्षी आणि गर्भगृहाच्या छतावरील कीर्तीमुखाचे अलंकरण वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण आहे.हे मंदिर पाताळ लिंगी शिवपिंडी असलेले आहे.कारण सभाग्रह जमिनीच्या पातळीपेक्षा जवळ जवळ १.५२ मी . खोल आहे.शिवपिंडी उत्तराभिमुख आहे. श्री.काळेश्वर मंदिराच्या पुढे नव्याने भव्य असा आर.सी.सी. सभामंडप अलिकडील काळात उभारण्यात आला आहे.अप्रतिम निसर्ग सौंदर्य अनुभवायला मिळाले.समोरच विस्तीर्ण शंकरसागर जलाशय,हिरव्यागार टेकड्यांमधून वळसा घालून येणारी गोदामाई,दाट वनराई,जलाशयातून मधूनच चमकणारी सुर्य किरणे केवळ अद्भूत असेच या दृष्याचे वर्णन करता येईल.

The structure is built at the place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji left his earthly life. The inner room of the gurdwara is called the Angitha Sahib and is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated in 1708. The gurdwara was built between 1832 and 1837 by order of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji (1780–1839).

One part of waterfall area is covered under Umarkhed Tahsil of District where as other part comes under Kinwat Tahsil of Nanded (Marathwada Region) district. This waterfall is 45.5 K.M. away from Umarkhed where as 161 K.M. away from district head quarter. Large number of people visits this waterfall in rainy season. Tourists enjoy the water falling from 30-40 feet.
