Adamawa State is a Nigerian state in the North-East geopolitical zone, bordering to the northwest by Borno, to the west by Gombay, to the southwest by Taraba, and to the east by the national boundary with Cameroon. It is named after the former emirate of Adamawa, with Yola, the emirate's old capital, as Adamawa State's capital. The state, which has over 100 indigenous ethnic groups and is one of Nigeria's most diverse, was founded in 1991 when the former Gongola State was divided into Adamawa and Taraba states.
Adamawa is the eighth largest state in terms of land, but the thirteenth least populous in terms of population, with an estimated population of around 4.25 million as of 2016. The state is mostly made up of mountain highlands (the Atlantika, Mandara, and Shebshi ranges) and the Adamawa Plateau, which are intersected by valleys and rivers, most notably the Benue and Gongola rivers. The Adamawa lowlands are part of the West Sudanian savanna in the north and the wetter Guinean forest–savanna mosaic in sections of the south, while the Mandara Plateau mosaic and Cameroonian Highlands forests eco regions are found in the elevated areas.
The Gashaka Gumti National Park is located in the state's extreme south and contains large populations of bushbuck, African buffalo, patas monkey, black-and-white colobus, giant pangolin, and hippopotamus, as well as some of Nigeria's last remaining Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee, African leopard, and African golden cat populations.
Various ethnic groups have lived in what is now Adamawa State for years, including the Bwatiye (Bachama), Bali, Bata (Gbwata), Gudu, Mbula-Bwazzak, and Nungurab (Lunguda) in the central region; the Kamwe in the north and central region; the Jibu in the far south; the Kilba, Marghi, Waga, and Wula in the north; and the Mumuye in the south while the Fulani live throughout the state—often as nomadic herders.
Adamawa is also religiously diverse, with roughly 55 percent of the population being Sunni Muslim, 30 percent Christian (mostly Lutheran, EYN, ECWA, and Pentecostal), with the remaining 15% following traditional ethnic religions.

So, we spent the Christmas holiday in Warri. While around, we decided to go see what's around and feed you guys in on it.
Well, this really isn't our first time in Warri, and obviously isn't the first Christmas holiday we'd spent here.
And to this, we must confess, unlike 2021 (and years before that), Christmas of 2022 in Warri doesn't doesn't even really look like Christmas at all.
Much people didn't get to celebrate it like before.
After several researches, aside the 2022 that kinda happened to everyone in Nigeria, it was also discovered that the fuel price hike also contributed to the major reason why 2022 Christmas was boring in Warri. Much people didn't travel back home.
Lagos to Warri (to and fro) was about 60 thousand Naira. How many people could really afford that?

The inhabitants are called Zagezagi or Zazzagawa. Tradition has it that the name Zazzau is derived from a famous sword which was honoured in those days by the Zazzagawa and helped to give a kind of ethnic identity years before the recognition of any king by Zaria (the transformation of Zazzau) people. The ancient city of Zaria was established as the seat of the throne of Zazzau more than 700 years ago, while the whole kingdom was about 1000 years old and is among the oldest and most popular kingdom in Northern Nigeria.

Christianity is the most prevalent religion in the United States. Estimates from 2017 suggest that between 65% and 75% of the US population is Christian, about 230 to 250 million. More recent estimates from 2021 suggest that 63% of the US population is Christian, about 210 million. The majority of Christian Americans are Protestant Christians, 140 million, though there are also significant numbers of American Roman Catholics, 70 million and other minority Christian denominations such as Mormons, Orthodox Christians and Jehovah's Witnesses, about 13 million in total. The United States has the largest Christian population in the world and, more specifically, the largest Protestant population in the world, with nearly 210 million Christians and, as of 2021, over 140 million people affiliated with Protestant churches, although other countries have higher percentages of Christians among their populations. The Public Religion Research Institute's 2020 Census of American Religion, carried out between 2014 and 2020, showed that 70% of Americans identified as Christian during this seven-year interval. In a 2020 survey by the Pew Research Center, 65% of adults in the United States identified themselves as Christians. They were 75% in 2015 70.6% in 2014, 78% in 2012, 81.6% in 2001, and 85% in 1990. About 62% of those polled claim to be members of a church congregation. The modern official motto of the United States of America, as established in a 1956 law signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is In God We Trust. The phrase first appeared on U.S. coins in 1864.
All Protestant denominations accounted for 48.5% of the population, making Protestantism the most prevalent form of Christianity in the country and the majority religion in general in the United States, while the Catholic Church by itself, at 22.7% of the population, is the largest individual denomination if Protestantism is divided into various denominations instead of being counted as a single category. The nation's second-largest church and the single largest Protestant denomination is the Southern Baptist Convention. Among Eastern Christian denominations, there are several Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox churches, with just below 1 million adherents in the US, or 0.4% of the total population. Christianity is the predominant religion in all US states and territories. Conversion into Christianity has significantly increased among Korean, Chinese, and Japanese in the United States. In 2012, the percentage of Christians in these communities were 71%, 30% and 37% respectively.
Christianity was introduced to the Americas as it was first colonized by Europeans beginning in the 16th and 17th centuries. Immigration further increased Christian numbers. Going forward from its foundation, the United States has been called a Protestant nation by a variety of sources. When the categories of “irreligion” and “unaffiliated” are included as religious categories for statistical purposes, Protestantism is technically no longer the religious category of the majority; however, this is primarily the result of an increase in Americans, such as Americans of Protestant descent, professing no religious affiliation, rather than being the result of an increase in non-Protestant religious affiliations, and Protestantism remains by far the majority or dominant form of religion in the United States among American Christians and those Americans who declare a religion affiliation. Today, most Christian churches in the United States are either Mainline Protestant, Evangelical Protestant, or Catholic.
Brazil has the largest number of Catholic Christians in the world. Catholicism has been Brazil's main religion since the beginning of the 16th century. It was introduced among the Native Brazilians by Jesuits missionaries and also observed by all the Portuguese first settlers.
During colonial times, there was no freedom of religion. All Portuguese settlers and Brazilians were compulsorily bound to the Catholic faith and were bound to pay tithes to the church. After the Brazilian independence, the first constitution introduced freedom of religion in 1824, but Catholicism was kept as the official religion. The Imperial Government paid a salary to Catholic priest and influenced the appointment of bishops. The political-administrative division of the municipalities accompanied the hierarchical division of the bishoprics in freguesias (parishes). There was also some hindrances to the construction of temples and cemeteries that belonged to the Catholic Church. The first Republican Constitution in 1891 separated religion from state and made all religions equal in the Codes of Law, but the Catholic Church remained very influential until the 1970s. For example, due to the strong opposition of the Catholic Church, divorce was not allowed in Brazil until 1977 even if a separated couple observed a different religion.
