Today we're taking you on a massive Mexican street food tour and sharing with you Guanajuato's best local food and some of its famous regional dishes. We sample an explosive drink made up of pineapple vinegar, jamaica (hibiscus flowers) and tamarind water called cebadina, eat Enchiladas Mineras (miner's enchiladas), a guacamaya- a torta which is regional to Guanajuato and loads more. 1. Tacos al Vapor (queso, papas, costilla de res) at Tacos al vapor el jaguar. Open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
2. Pollo Especial Torta at El Pollo Non, Calle Tepetapa 9, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto. Open 7 days, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
3. Limon and Carlota nieves at nieves stand on the bridge across from El Pollo Non, open from the afternoon.
4. Guacamaya at Guacamayas El Güero, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato. Open 7 days, 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
5. Cebadina at stall outside hardware shop on Roque 3, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto.
6. Enchiladas Mineras con pollo (with chicken) at Enchiladas de Lupe, Antigua Plaza de Gallos, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto. Open 7 days from 6:00pm to midnight

In this episode we explore hidden gems in central Mexico. While visiting Jose’s family, we plan our wedding details, we visit his grandfather’s hometown of Chipilo (Little Italy), as well as his abuela’s home town of Atlixco. We explore other parts of Mexico: Mazamitla, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Atlixco, Chipilo, Cholula, and Ajijic.
We eat bugs, we eat Mezcal pulp, we take in lots of mountain views, and we follow a night time “parade” in the alleys of Guanajuato city called: Callejoneadas
For any of you visiting Puebla, you can’t miss getting shots of the famous volcano-Popocatepetl! It is still active and the drive to Chipilo “Little Italy” has amazing views of this volcano.
And for all you IG stars out there, I believe Guanajuato to be one of the most ‘grammable cities in the world!

Hermoso centro histórico el de Moroleón, Guanajuato. Arcos, portales, cafeterías, negocios, cantera limpia y clara, árboles frondosas, pájaros cantando. Un bello rincón de nuestro país, y además, de gente muy trabajadora. Es motivante visitar su plaza central.
Todas las escenas son de su primer cuadro, la parte central de Moroleón, excepto la última toma, el monumento de los grandes carretes de hilo, que están en en el cruce de la calle Puebla y una gran avenida que conduce a Morelia, Michoacán.
