To start off the day you'll be heading to the world's best luxury spa: Peninsula Hot Springs. You'll have 3 hours to relax in the mineral pools, the hilltop pool with 360 degree views, Turkish steam bath, reflexology walk, cold plunge pools and so much more.
Next up you'll enjoy a lunch and a wine tasting at a local farm gate, followed by strawberries picking at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm. Take a ride on the Arthurs Seat Eagle Gondola for panoramic views of the Peninsula and Port Phillip Bay. Exploring The Great Ocean Road and Around Melbourne | 5 Days Road Trip VIC | Travel Australia 2015
Another round of a road trip adventure in the last few days of June, this time to Victoria – The Place to Be!
I personally like visiting Melbourne because the city is convenient – it’s not too crowded, it’s well planned with great public transports. The buildings there are beautiful having both sense of classy and modern. AND it’s a food heaven! The restaurants and cafes there never disappoint.
The outskirts of Melbourne also has plenty to offer, especially if you’re one to seek for nature and outdoor adventure. The Great Ocean Road (GOR) is a must place to visit and it’s best not to rush the spectacular coastal journey. We spent a night at Port Campbell which became our starting point.
But why start from there? It’s really up to you. We didn’t want to start from Melbourne and drive to and from GOR. Instead, we took this route: Melbourne – Waubra – Grampians – GOR – Melbourne. This route was much fun because we got both the beautiful forest and coastal scenery.

Is this Australia's next best pub? Garradunga Hotel
We stumbled across this humble country pub on our way back from the Cape via Wikicamps Just 2min off the highway.
It's such a welcoming pub where the locals treat you like you are one of them and everyone is up for a chat!
Garradunga Hotel has around 250 people on any given weekend enjoying live music and meat raffles. With some renovations going on, it's sure to only get better.
We stayed for $10 because we wanted to hook up to power but if you don't, it's free, Steve (the owner) just asks you to have a beer!
Definitely worth the stop!

Places to go near Brisbane- Shorncliffe Pier
This is an exploratory trip to find good places around Brisbane. This is a very good place. You can go here for short one day trips from Brisbane. Daytime would be preferred. It is great for picnic, fishing, writing if your a writer, reading. Very silent place, although people come for walking on the Shorncliffe pier. There is a great walk apart from the pier on the shore.
