Iniziamo con un giro a Porto Santo Stefano, una piccola città marinara.
Fai una passeggiata lungo il porto e ammira le sue coloratissime case.
Prosegui il giro a Porto Ercole, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia. Scopri il borgo seguendo le indicazioni del “percorso Caravaggio”.
Un progetto nato per omaggiare il noto pittore.
Per pranzo ti consigliamo il ristorante la Sirena, con ottimi piatti a base pesce.
Nel pomeriggio tappa ad Orbetello, imperdibile il duomo, il Palazzo del Governatore e l’antico Mulino Spagnolo.
Noi siamo stati sfortunati con il meteo, ma con l’arrivo dell’estate, girare questi posti è piacevolissimo!

🛶 Monte Argentario and surroundings: one day itinerary
We start with a tour of Porto Santo Stefano, a small seaside town.
Take a stroll along the harbor and admire its colorful houses.
Continue the tour to Porto Ercole, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Discover the village by following the directions of the Caravaggio route.
A project created to pay homage to the well-known painter.
For lunch we recommend the Sirena restaurant, with excellent fish-based dishes.
In the afternoon stop in Orbetello, the cathedral, the Governor's Palace and the ancient Spanish mill are not to be missed.
We were unlucky with the weather, but with the arrival of summer, visiting these places is very pleasant!

Monte Argentario è un promontorio di rara bellezza quasi completamente circondato dal mare. È unito alla terraferma dalle due spiagge della Giannella e della Feniglia, e dalla strada artificiale che taglia in due la laguna di Orbetello. Molti sono i luoghi del Monte Argentario che meritano una visita.
Ci sono lunghe spiagge sabbiose ma soprattutto tante calette affascinanti raggiungibili via mare. Le spiagge del Monte Argentario non sono sempre facili da raggiungere, ma la fatica del percorso è sempre ripagata alla vista di questi paradisi di mare cristallino.
In questa prima parte vedrete alcune delle mete principali tra cui:
Isola Rossa, Capo d'Uomo, Cala del Gesso, Torre Aldobrandesca di Talamone (Orbetello), Porto Ercole, La Cacciarella, Curva Buozzi, Rocca Spagnola (Porto Ercole), Cala Grande.

I spent a week in Orbetello ( Toscana, ITALY ). This was a beautiful place, especially during the sunset. Nice landscape and beautiful colors! I took a few aerial shots with my Phantom 3 professional and cut the clips in this short video together. :)

Charming pieds-dans-l'eau villa on Monte Argentario
Villa from the 60s which was luxuriously renovated in 2006/2007. It has a surface of around 390 square meters and is situated in a truly unique position, in the most exclusive area of the Argentario, with a beautiful sea view. It is accessed from a large stone paved area that allows parking for 15/18 cars. From the entrance of the villa you enter the large living room with fireplace and dining room with large and bright windows overlooking the 100 sqm terrace and the sea. On the same floor there is also the kitchen with a terrace and a guest bathroom. On the lower floor there is the sleeping area which is divided in 3 different parts: a master bedroom with terrace and bathroom; 3 double bedrooms with bathroom; 2 double bedrooms with bathroom and 2 other bedrooms with bathroom. There is also a beautiful swimming pool (60 sqm) overlooking the sea paved with teak slats. The villa is surrounded by a parkland of about 12,000 square meters and has a helicopter landing pad. The land upstream of the villa is crossed by a path with many panoramic points; the path in front of the villa leads directly to the sea. Excellent finishes and air conditioning.

Discover the Magic of Tuscany: Orbetello Argentario Walking Adventure
This tour is slightly different from the usual walking tours. I try to take you to some places that are not considered interesting from a tourist point of view, but in my opinion they are still worth a visit. Have a nice Tour!!!

The city of Orbetello rises in the middle of the homonymous lagoon and is joined to Monte Argentario by a road built on an artificial embankment (the dam), which has divided the lagoon into two bodies of water (Laguna di Levante and Laguna di Ponente ). Until 1944 a railway also ran on the dam that connected it to Porto Santo Stefano.
The municipal area is extremely varied; the wet lagoon area is bordered towards the sea by two tomboli, the Tombolo of Feniglia and the Tombolo of Giannella, characterized by long sandy beaches, pine forests, and Mediterranean scrub. The coast near the reliefs of Talamone and Ansedonia becomes rocky and difficult to access.
The hinterland is characterized by modest reliefs, where the vegetation grows spontaneously, forming intricate patches, and by flat areas, once malarial and today intensely cultivated.
