“Cloud Farm” is the best tourist attraction in Al Darb. It is a great hangout place for family with lots of fun activities for kids. This place is open on all days from 4 pm to midnight. The entrance fee to this place is 10 SR per person.

Jizan Region is the second smallest (after Al Bahah) region of Saudi Arabia. It stretches 300 km (190 mi) along the southern Red Sea coast, just north of Yemen, and includes over 100 islands in the Red Sea among which the Farasan Islands is Saudi Arabia's first conservation protected area and home to migratory birds from Europe in winter.
However, the region is one of the smallest; it boasts an astounding natural and geographical diversity that few other regions can match. From scorching desert sands to deep green forests, grassy plains to craggy mountain peaks, agricultural lands to tropical islands and colorful coral reefs, Jizan has it all. The region is not limited to natural beauty, for it also boasts interesting archaeological sites, a historic harbour that bustles with life, and a huge variety of tropical fruits.
From December through March, the weather is drier and more moderate, making winter an excellent time to explore this small province’s wealth of culture and nature.

Wadi Lajab in Jazan Province of Saudi Arabia | وادي لجب في منطقة جازان السعودية
Wadi Lajab is an incredibly beautiful valley in the southern Saudi Arabia near the town of Al Raith. It is 130 kms from the nearest Jazan airport and 195 kms from the Abha international airport. Wadi Lajab is 5 kilometers long, 300 to 800 meters deep canyon. Its width varies from 3 to 30 meters. High steep walls, narrow pathways, running water streams, big boulders, greenery, towering palm trees, wildlife, mid-sized waterfalls, and freshwater ponds makes this wadi 'paradise in the desert’. People can enjoy hiking, rock climbing, fishing and swimming in this magnificent valley. The government has also built some seating areas and restrooms for the tourists. The best time to visit the valley is during the winter months of November to March.
Hiking through this wadi was one of the most memorable experience for us. In some places, the water was waist deep and in others it was just a nice ankle deep stream.

وادي لجب هو وادي جميل بشكل لا يصدق في جنوب المملكة العربية السعودية بالقرب من مدينة الريث. يقع على بعد 130 كم من أقرب مطار جيزان و 195 كم من مطار أبها الدولي. يبلغ طول وادي لجب 5 كيلومترات وعمق الوادي 300 إلى 800 متر. عرضه يختلف من 3 إلى 30 مترا. الجدران شديدة الانحدار والممرات الضيقة ومجاري المياه الجارية والصخور الكبيرة والمساحات الخضراء وأشجار النخيل الشاهقة والحياة البرية والشلالات متوسطة الحجم وبرك المياه العذبة تجعل هذا الوادي جنة في الصحراء. يمكن للناس الاستمتاع بالمشي لمسافات طويلة وتسلق الصخور وصيد الأسماك والسباحة في هذا الوادي الرائع. كما قامت الحكومة ببناء بعض مناطق الجلوس ودورات المياه للسياح. أفضل وقت لزيارة الوادي هو خلال أشهر الشتاء من نوفمبر إلى مارس.
كان المشي في هذا الوادي من أكثر التجارب التي لا تنسى بالنسبة لنا. في بعض الأماكن ، كان الماء عميقًا على مستوى الخصر وفي أماكن أخرى كان مجرد مجرى لطيف في الكاحل.

Jabal Al Qahar in English, means, “Mountain Of Frustration.” The name is absolutely the opposite because you will never get frustrated once you arrive at the place. You don’t need to make yourself tired with all the trekking, hiking, and climbing. All you need is to stand or sit down on a carpet and look around. There were plenty of attempts to climb the rocks, but all turned into a failure, and no one succeeded up to this date; hence the name; frustration mountain originated.

The majestic beauty of the valley described as “heaven in the desert” never fails to surprise visitors. Wadi Lajab is situated between two high rocky mountains with steep sides covered by a green blanket of creepers and thick moss that can resemble a hanging garden
The Lajab Valley had recently been approved by the SCTH and the Jazan Tourism Development Council as a tourist site where visitors could practice rock climbing.
“Those who come to the valley can spend unforgettable moments enjoying the nature of the area and its unique geographical formations,” he said. Restrooms, guidance signs and seating areas had been installed to allow visitors to enjoy the valley’s “charming nature.”

The Al-Raith mountains, where Wadi Lajab is found, gained great importance among historians after the Saudi history researcher Hadi Ali claimed it was the area where people lived in the Arabian Peninsula in ancient times.
“The valley is characterized by its vegetation, which turns the sides of the surrounding mountains into a green carpet. The coolness of its year-round flowing water is ensured by the 800-meter high sides of the mountain, which protect it from the direct sunlight,” he said.
Baish Dam:
The Baysh Dam is a gravity dam on Wadi Baysh about 35 km (22 mi) northeast of Baysh in the Jizan Region of southwestern Saudi Arabia. The dam has many purposes to include flood control, irrigation and groundwater recharge.
The dam was constructed between 2003 and 2009. At 106 m (348 ft) in height, it is the tallest dam in Saudi Arabia. It was constructed by Yüksel İnşaat A.Ş. and is owned and operated by the Ministry of Water and Electricity.
