Milovice is a town in the Czech Republic in the Nymburk District located about 38 km northeast of Prague. Towards the end of the year of 2007 the total population has reached 7,500 people.
Milovice played an important role during the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia and was the headquarters for the CGF (Central Group of Forces). The town held many Soviet troops and tanks at the local military base. The last of the troops left in 1991 and the base was abandoned in 1995.
The Central Group of forces comprised two tank divisions, three mechanized infantry divisions, three missle brigades, an artillery brigade, and an airborne assault brigade. Total strength was about 85,000. Group headquarters was located in the town of Milovice, northwest of Prague.

This is one of the last remaining abandoned buildings in Milovice. It looked like a repair shop to us, but maybe it was something different. However, similar to the airstrip of Milovice (check out the last video), this location is well-attended: Some people build an improvised shooting range, other might have barbecued here. And when we left this building, we have spotted a young man, who carefully looked around and entered the workshop very fast. But maybe it was just a fellow urban explorer…
As the title implies the „Urbex Short“-series is a much more compact version of “Urbex”. It’s a quick visit of an abandoned place that is summed up by BWT (Broken Window Theory) in a couple of shots. But it isn’t always about the most prominent spots of the locations – it’s also about the little differences that make these places special in a distinctive way.

Česká příroda - vzácní divocí koně, tip na výlet u Rokycan, Plzeňsko :: Wild horses in Czech nature
Exmoorský pony či keltský pony je velmi vzácný divoký kůň, který byl po druhé sv. válce skoro na vyhynutí. Zůstalo pouze 45 jedniců! Dnes jich je cca 2000 a na některé z nich se můžete podívat právě v oboře u Rokycan. Tam najdete také zubry a jeleny - které můžete vidět v dalších videích.
Jde o nenáročný výlet s dětmi, oboru lze krásně objejít vč. vystoupání na vyhlídkové místo.
U obory jsem byla celkem 3x, poprvé jsem koně viděla velmi z dálky, ale měla jsem štěstí na jeleny. Podruhé se mi přímo za plotem předváděli zubři a napotřetí to konečně vyšlo :-)

Park Mirakulum ve středočeských Milovicích nabízí 10 hektarů zábavy pro celou rodinu. K dispozici je hrad, lanová centra, houpačky, trampolíny, kontaktní zoo, bludiště, amfiteátr, podzemní chodby a mnoho dalších herních atrakcí. Živý program o víkendech, svátcích a prázdninách.
Co je za nás naprosto super je jednotné vstupné 200Kč, ale všechny atrakce uvnitř jsou zdarma.
Hájenka Kersko
Hrabalova hájenka je restaurace v chatové osadě Kersko. Známá je díky spisovateli Bohumilu Hrabalovi, protože se v ní odehrává spousta jeho příběhů.
Kersko je známé hlavně díky Bohumilu Hrabalovi, který zde léta žil spolu s 25 polodivokými kočkami.
Podle jeho předlohy se zde natáčel známý film Slavnosti sněženek. K Hájence přijedete slavnou alejí, kde hlavní hrdinové filmu honili divokého kance.
V Hrabalově hájence se v současné době nachází hospůdka, přesně ta ze Slavností sněženek. Na jídelním lístku najdete spoustu jídel ideálních k Postřižinskému pivu, které zde točí. A samozřejmě nabízí i Kančí se šípkovou i se zelím.

Last weekend, I have been visiting Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Walking through the streets 30 after my arrival at the hostel, I was already invited by two guys I have met on a metro station, from where I wanted to start discovering Prague by night. But instead, I followed the invitation and joined them in the craziest drum n bass club I have ever visited. The club consisted of an outside area, a terrasse, a balcony, several levels, containing a restaurant, a bar and several dance floors. Once again, it is really an advantage to travel alone sometimes, as you can just be spontaneous and change your plan if something more interesting pops up.
After a short night of sleep, I have started my urban exploration tour through an abandoned freight yard in the east of the city. I loved the rusty old vibes and towers all over the place, Although I found a staircase, I could not make it to the top of the roof. That was a pity. Anyway, I continued my trip to the next stop on my list, which was actually quite close to the city centre. It was the world's biggest stadium, which stands a facades are crumbling and falling apart. Luckily, I found access and talked my way in to climb up and take pictures. That was really the coolest abandoned place I have seen, - okay no, Chernobyl was cooler. Anyway, it was a full success. I explored Prague, a very very touristy city without bumping into any tourist for one night and one day. That was a really nice experience, to explore places which are way more unique than touristy spots in the city centre. After a full day in zombie mode and several missed busses, I was about to return to my hostel, until I left the Metro station and witnessed one of the most gorgeous sunsets of the last year. it gave me new power and I just ran to this bridge that I could see appearing on the horizon to enjoy and capture this gorgeous sunset.

PS: This weekend was really challenging as I basically spent time for relaxation, for filming, taking pictures and partying all at the same time.

TRAVEL VLOG : Hrad Bezděz | Czech Republic
Bezděz Castle (Czech: Hrad Bezděz) is a Gothic castle located 20 km southeast of Česká Lípa, in the Liberec Region, Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic. We went there to look around, and enjoy the scenery. Despite of an unforeseen turn of events when we were heading back home to Hradec, our car broke down in the middle of the road. this will forever be in my memory. :)
