Mount Gambier is a charming city located in the southeastern part of South Australia. Nestled on the slopes of an extinct volcano, the city is known for its stunning natural landscapes, unique geological features, and vibrant community. With a population of around 28,000 people, Mount Gambier offers a perfect blend of urban amenities and picturesque countryside.
One of the defining features of Mount Gambier is the Blue Lake, a magnificent crater lake that sits within the city limits. The lake's vivid blue color is a result of the limestone particles suspended in the water, creating a mesmerizing sight for locals and visitors alike. In the summer months, the lake transforms into a vibrant turquoise, while in the winter, it takes on a deep cobalt blue hue. The Blue Lake is not only an iconic landmark but also serves as a major source of drinking water for the region.

WHERE TO FIND SOME DRINKS IN ROBE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA + FILIPINA AUSTRALIAN VLOG #InDaynaMo
#robe #southaustralia #landdownunder
Hi, Guys Mabuhay PIpol of the Universe! In today's video, we are going to find where can get some drinks in Robe, South Australia. Tara na pipol of the universe 💋💋💋
Robe Store by mahalia coffee
✔
The Robe Town Brewery is a small brewery that specializes in the production of specialty beverages and ales.
The family-run operation uses sustainable, traditional, and organic methods of brewing, and it’s the only wood-fired brewing kettle in all of Australia.
The one-of-a-kind flavour profiles are concocted in small batches using local barley and other foraged ingredients, before being bottled by hand.
Their approach is primarily focused on small-scale batches, seasonality, and natural biological processes; something that you won’t get with commercial beer brewers. The batch sizes range from 300 to 900 litres, and although they do warn that the traditional methods used may result in variation among batches, for many, this is what makes their products outstanding. All the beverages made at the Robe Town Brewery are free of preservatives.
Beer enthusiasts are invited to sample their fine drinks at the brewery tasting room. Experience a range of flavours while learning about the craft by booking an in-depth tasting flight, which usually features ten up to twenty various products. Many of their unique products may also be found in popular establishments in Robe and the nearby areas, as well as Melbourne and Adelaide.
Aside from the main batch of beers produced, the seasonal releases are something to look forward to. Seasonal release beers include The Little Wild Muntrie, Solstice, and Equinox. The limited release range includes Raw Sour, Monk’s Habit, The Stowaway, Farmhouse Red, Midnight Smooch, Hey Hay, Moby Dick Ambergris Ale, Sourfest, and Magic Mulberry.
The Robe Town Brewery Cellar Door is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm. They are also open on long weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
Appointments for tours and tastings are welcome. Find them at the Robe junction of the Southern Ports Highway at 97 Millicent Road in Robe, South Australia.

Kingston to Mt Gambier Experience Australia partm42
Cheap camping on the foreshore at Kingston and an easy walk to everything. Robe for lunch at the bakery and then trying to find somewhere for the night as it was cold and the forecast was looking like rain and wind for the next week. Checked out a few spots but the wind was 40 knots so no swimming or beach camping. We look for the Tantanoola Tiger but the pub was closed which had the stuffed remains on display but got to see some sinkholes and head to Mt Gambier. Along the way we climb mount Shanck ,discover some other swimming spots and sink holes and do another walk up the side of the Blue Lake in thongs ,stupid. Mt Gambier is surprisingly awesome with lots of parks and great walks, cycle tracks and scenery . The sunken garden in town was incredible and used to have a small man made river around the edge with boats . Stopped overnight at our spot on the Glenelg River and then onto Colac for our last night which ironically is where it all started. Bloody cold back in Victoria and its mid November .
Cheers Leigh
