The region of Querétaro has a rapidly growing vineyards agriculture. Querétaro wine and cheese production is now the second largest in Mexico after that of the Baja California region. We take you along with us as we explore the area's wine and cheese route. We also take you to the small village of Tequisquiapan. The town is one of the “pueblos mágicos” (“magical village”) in the colonial highlands and is the center of wine and gourmet cuisine in the region.

Viñedos San Juanito

San Juanito toma lo que la tierra ofrece y establece criterios para la selección de las mejores uvas. Con las dos primeras cosechas de su historia logró la obtención de 19 premios internacionales.

En tu visita podrás acompañar tu bebida con ricas pizzas artesanales hechas en hornos de leña. Asimismo, el viñedo ofrece recorridos guiados por la bodega y la cava para aprender el proceso de elaboración del vino.

La historia de San Juanito se remonta a 2011; sin embargo, se consolida en 2013, cuando el viñedo ubicado en el valle de Bernal comenzó a ganar sus primeros premios internacionales en España e Inglaterra (Bacchus Oro y plata 2015 y Decanter 2015), algo poco común en viñedos recién establecidos.

Petroglyphs National Monument New Mexico- Boca Negra Canyon Trail

The area of trails is made up of three of just petroglyphs and then another three for the volcanic trail system. This is the first and the Boca Negra Canyon Trail. The black mountain is basically a small hill with a large number of petroglyphs around it all the way to the top. This particular trail is well maintained and easy to get to from the main road. There are times when the trail is just large rocks that you must climb over or go around. To complete this trail you follow the signs and make sure to veer right in order to take the longer route that will allow you to see a petroglyph or two up close.
