In this video we woke up in the town of Mascota in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. We were going to explore the town and then take an unforgettable bus ride to Guadalajara. We had previously been in Bucerias, Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, Yelapa, and other towns along the west and east part of Mexico. I had enjoyed the whole coast and in my other videos you can see several other towns i went to including, Manzanillo, Zihuatanejo, Acapulco, La Paz, cabo San Lucas, and many more. We were also in the east part of Mexico and made videos form cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. To see those videos just go to videos to watch

En la Sierra Madre Occidental se encuentra el Pueblo Mágico de Mascota Jalisco , un bello municipio donde la historia, cultura y la naturaleza, se combinan con el aire provincial de la actualidad.
Recorre sus callejones, casonas y haciendas del siglo XIX o realiza actividades de aventura entre montañas, bosques y ríos. Sin importar qué actividad elijas, no puedes dejar de visitar esta localidad jalisciense en tu próxima aventura por el Estado.
El paisaje boscoso de Mascota, también conocido como La Esmeralda de la Sierra , ofrece un fascinante circuito de montaña, integrado por comunidades de los alrededores como Navidad , Juanacatlán, Cimarrón y Yerbabuena.
Aquí te recomendamos dar recorridos en lancha, practicar el trekking, escalada en roca, paseos a caballo y ciclismo. Complementa tus opciones de aventura en la Laguna de Juanacatlán, la Presa Corrinchis, la Laguna de Yerbabuena, las Pilas de Agua Caliente, la Piedra La Narizona, el Volcán El Molcajete y el Campo Petrificado El Maipais.
Si lo que buscas es un recorrido por el pueblo, no dudes en conocer el Templo Inconcluso de la Preciosa Sangre, una joya arquitectónica que no pudo terminar su construcción. Sin embargo, sus cimientos, altos muros y su capilla son un testimonio de la majestuosidad del siglo XIX, pues esta última se presume inició su edificación en 1905. En la actualidad, dichos cimientos están rodeados de jardines que se han convertido en el escenario ideal para eventos culturales como conciertos u obras de teatro.
También se encuentra el Museo Arqueológico de Mascota, que alberga más de 450 piezas de cerámica de piedra, una colección de fotografías de arte rupestre y ofrendas funerarias encontradas dentro de las tumbas encontradas en la región con más de tres mil años de antigüedad.
Mascota cuenta con una amplia oferta hotelera para todos los bolsillos. Uno de sus principales hoteles es el Sierra Lago Resort & Spa, muy cerca de la Laguna de Juanacatlán, por lo que el paisaje a su alrededor es asombroso.
