The Amazing LIFESTYLE of the RIVER BENUE PEOPLE| PLACES TO VISIT IN NIGERIA shot on samsung s10 plus

I took a canoe trip across RIVER BENUE, with friends to explore the beautiful lifestyle of the people living at the famous Benue river. River Benue is one of the two major rivers in Nigeria, the people are predominantly fishermen and they depend on the water for everything. In this video we witness a very amazing scene of which encompases the dependence of the people on the river. Within a ten meter radius, there is a crowd, a young man is seen fishing, a woman is seen doing the dishes, another doing her laundry, in their middle, an aged man is seen brushing his teeth. A little girl is seen swimming another is taking a shit. THE PEOPLE HAVE A BELIEF THAT THE WATER IS SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION AND THAT THE TURBULENCE OF THE RIVER HAS CLEANING ABILITIES. I shot this video entirely on the samsung galaxy s10 plus and the DJI mavic mini. I had my camera nearby but using a phone was the only way to gain their trust and entry into their little circle to be able to document them.

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE VIDEO AS MUCH AS I ENJOYED MAKING IT, IF YOU DO, PLEASE HIT THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON, LIKE THIS VIDEO AND SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

IF THERE IS A VIDEO YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND IF YOU WANT ME TO CREATE ANOTHER PART OF THIS VIDEO, AS THERE WERE LOTS OF THINGS I LEFT OUT DUE TO AVOID AN UNNECESSARILY LONG VIDEO.

The experiencing naija team brings to you the largest yam market in Africa called the Zaki-biam yam market in Ukum local government area of Benue state, Nigeria. Sights and sounds of Makurdi (Most detailed video about Makurdi)

Makurdi : The twin-bridge city

Makurdi, the Benue State Capital is a beautiful, twin-bridge town. It is home to the New Bridge (a road bridge) and the Old Bridge (a combined rail and road bridge over the Benue River which was completed in 1932). When you are on the New Bridge, there is a White high-rise building that is a prominent landmark on the bank of the Benue. Most people refer to it as the Benue Sheraton Hotel, one of the many legacies of the Gov. Aper Aku era. In addition to the FoodBasket at the Wurukum round about, it is another landmark that is unmistakably synonymous to Makurdi.

Have you ever wondered what the view from the top of that building looks like?
