Noong unang punta namin dito, by land kami noon and talagang mahigit 9 hours ang ininda namin sa kalsada. Mas mabilis talaga kapag ililipad mo na lang. Thankfully, may commercial airport dito sa capital city, ang Laoag International Airport (LAO), and may daily flights papunta dito ang Cebu Pacific

Our BOAT BROKE in the MIDDLE of the OCEAN!!! Dinagat Islands » Surigao City » Mindanao
We want to share the WHOLE story of what happened on the M/V Vince Gabriel boat on September 25, 2022.
FYI: This was in the middle of our 10-day Mindanao Province-Hopping tour and we normally create travel videos and travel vlogs in every province we go to, so it just so happened that we we filmed this entire boat experience on the way to Surigao.
The boat ride was from San Jose, Dinagat Islands to Surigao City, the waves were so big that the outrigger was smashed by the waves, and it cracked. Eventually when the waves got bigger, the entire outrigger was completely ripped off, and we were still 30 minutes away from the shore.
Praise God, we safely made it to Surigao City port and nobody was hurt.
Special thanks to all the boat crew, all the staff, and most importantly the BOAT CAPTAIN for taking control and letting us arrive safely!

It's just 2-3 hrs land travel from Butuan City going to Magpayang, then ride a tricycle or motorcycle going to mapaso (approx. 10-20mins).

Anahawan is a town endowed with many natural resources.
among these are Brgy. Mainit’s Hot Spring – a hot spring of sulfuric water believed to be medicinal, Brgy.Capacuhan’s Centennial Tree
a century-old Acacia tree that has become a source of pride for the community and Lake Danao famous among local mountaineers for the experience it offers. Fish like tilapia, gurami, halwan and carpa can be found in the lake.
