Walking Tour of Lysá nad Labem 🇨🇿 Exporing Czech Republic 4K HDR ASMR
Join the membership of the channel:
Lysá nad Labem is a town in the Nymburk district in the Central Bohemian Region. It has approximately 10 thousand inhabitants. It lies in a fertile lowland on the Elbe River, 14 km west of Nymburk. The historic centre of the town was declared a town conservation area in 2003.
Lysá nad Labem was first mentioned in the Chronicle of Kosmas. The local hillfort was one of the essential Slavic centres. Prince Jaromír, who was sent here by his brother, Prince Oldřich, was imprisoned, castrated and blinded at the Lysá fortress. In the 13th century, a castle was built here, and Lysá was then owned by the Czech queens until the reign of Luxembourg. Since 1291, the existence of Lysá as a town is documented. This year, Queen Guta, the wife of Wenceslas II, issued a charter uniting the land around Lysá into a single unit.
One of the most captivating landmarks of Lysá nad Labem is the Baroque castle. Perched on the highest point of Castle Hill, an important strategic location on the Polabská plain, the castle's unique features and rich history are sure to fascinate any visitor. Currently, the castle serves the needs of the Home for the Elderly, and while its interiors are not open to public visits and tours, its exterior is a sight to behold.

Czech Republic From Dusk Till Dawn
In the centre of a chain of mountains on the border, with deep and meditative forests covering the slopes, we find the land of Bohemia, strewn with the silver coins of lakes and criss-crossed with the threads of rivers, or rippling with undulating highlands. In the east lie the historical lands of Moravia and Silesia, brightened with the endless plains of golden fields. History, recent as well as ancient, has left its mark on this blissful landscape, with many valuable and astonishing treasures in the form of historical towns, castles and chateaux, churches and cathedrals – true architectural and urban masterpieces of all the eras that came before us.

What are trains like in Czechia? 🇨🇿 | Cesky Krumlov to Ceske Budejovice by train (Czech Republic)
Cesky Krumlov to Ceske Budejovice by train? The best way to travel between the two. But what are trains like in Czechia? How is the Czech Republic when it comes to trains?
Would you expect modern luxurious trains or some old ones with that Eastern European vibe (despite the fact Czechia is a Central European country - don't listen to the media)? How was the ride? What did I find on the toilet floor? All the answers, and even more, in today's episode.
As an extra info, the fastest way from Ceske Budejovice to Cesky Krumlov (or the other way around) is by bus or car - I have to admit that. But I always choose to go by train, when the option exists, because it's just way more pleasant, beautiful and... I just love trains so much. Expect to pay around 2 euros/USD for a 45 minutes ride. Trains in Czechia are especially cheap, if you come from North America, Western Europe, etc.
Use this website ( to buy your tickets. It's way better than any other providers on or offline. They even have an app, so you can have all your tickets saved there. And nope, this is not an ad. I just try to make your Czech trip easier.

Prague tour 4k HDR A new view of the city and the Main Railway Station! Žižkov 🇨🇿 Czech Republic
Today there will be an enjoyable Prague tour 4k. I have never walked this street before. We will descend from Vitkov hill in Žižkov district and go towards Prague Main Railway Station. We will see the city and the station from an unusual angle!
Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hlavní nádraží) is
The largest passenger railway station in the Czech Republic and Prague's most crucial railway station. The historic building and the hall above the railway yard are among the most significant Art Nouveau monuments in the Czech Republic. Many shops and food establishments will make waiting for your connection more pleasant. Occasional-themed exhibitions are held in the check-in hall. It opened in 1871 as Franz Josef Station, after Franz Joseph I of Austria. During the First Republic and from 1945 to 1948, the station was called Wilson Station (Czech: Wilsonovo nádraží), after the former President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson. In 2014, the station served 224,505 trains (610 daily) and more than 53,000,000 passengers.
GoogleMaps:
Žižkov is a lively neighborhood that attracts crowds of students to its numerous pubs. Well-dressed diners sip cocktails against a panoramic backdrop in the bar of the futuristic, communist-era Žižkov TV Tower. Vítkov hill, topped by the monumental National Memorial, also offers sweeping views. Franz Kafka, the author of The Trial and The Metamorphosis, is buried in the New Jewish Cemetery.

Brno is NOT a day-trip kind of city. Yes, it is smaller than Prague but one should consider 2 nights minimum as there is so much to see and to experience. Brno is located 115 miles (186 km) SouthEast of Prague (Praha, Prag, Praga). Average round trip train tickets (Prague to Brno and back) can start from $15 (€13), depending on the season, class and which days. It is about 3 hour train ride so sit back pop on your headphones, have your camera or cell phone ready to record and enjoy the ride :-) You can NOT reserve tickets more than 60 days in advance. Here is the link to reserve tickets (This site has multiple language support).
And UNLIKE Prague there is no scam places you need to worry about!!! My advice is to change your money in this city along the Masarykova Street, the main street (Before leaving to Prague exchange again :-) Plenty of cafes, restaurants, snack, bars and fast food places on that street as well before heading up towards the Liberty Square or to check in at your hotel. No need to take taxi or public transportation because from Brno Main Station (Brno hlavní nádraží or Brno hl. n.) to Liberty Square (Náměstí Svobody) is a very short walk of 8-10 minutes along Masarykova Street with a rolling luggage and backpack combined. In my opinion, this city should be visited during Easter (And you must try their green StaroBrno beer!!!) or Christmas looks to be fun but I've never been here during any other holidays then Easter time. Do NOT hesitate to wander outside of the main area of Brno Center because locals are very friendly and helpful, most of them are very curious of the visitors!!!
Everyone has heard of Prague but not many people know about this fun city called Brno (Brünn). Welcome to the second largest city in Czech Republic and the capital of Moravian region. Brno has the second largest university in Czech. Brno has the second largest population in the country. Google up on history of Brno from Spilberk Castle, Villa Tugendhat, Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Liberty Square and Cabbage Market. Best of all, there are hardly any tourists!!! And no money exchange scam!!! This city has more local vibe, which I really enjoy. There are events happening all the time, so please check the calendar. Celebration of Easter and Christmas are very big in this city from folk music, dance, art and beautiful architectures.I highly recommend this city on your list if you are every in Czech Republic.
Keep the Adventure and Curiosity Alive!

Vlastní dějiny hradu Točníka začínají koncem 14. století, kdy jej jako honosné reprezentační sídlo nechal zbudovat král český a římský Václav IV.
