This is a beautiful one way walk of approx 11.3 kms. It takes you from Gosford to Lisarow, along the ridge tops through the Rumbalara and Katandra Reserves. It is a pretty walk through beautiful bush with plenty of birdlife, and visits two lookouts and picnic areas.

It is accessible by public transport using the train.

This video is only an overview - please be prepared with your own map and research. I can recommend or the Wild Walks app for maps and other useful information.

The Emerald Pool - My Favourite Central Coast Bushwalks

This circuit track of approx 10.8kms is an enjoyable walk through Popran National Park - the prize being the Emerald Pool on Hominy Creek. The pool is deep, clear (usually) and cold but great for a swim on a hot day. There are also a couple of side trips along the way to the 248 Trail and Mt Olive which both have beautiful views. Spectacular flowering shrubs and Waratah flowers are a special feature at the right time in spring.

This video is only an overview - please be prepared with your own map and research. I can recommend or the Wild Walks app for maps and other useful information.

Enjoy!

Rumbalara Walks - Gosford
