The square, the municipal palace and its main church are filled with lights to welcome the last month of the year. A beautiful tour which its citizens, tourists or people who return with their families visit on these dates.
Linares is a city in the state of Nuevo León in Mexico, named Pueblo Mágico. Located in the central-south-eastern of the state, within the Citrus Region.
Also this municipality is distinguished by the Tamborileros regional music with clarinet and drum that is played in events such as weddings, XV years, baptisms and others. In this tour we can see them playing around the main square and they travel in the boxes of some trucks.
The citrus regional is the area of Nuevo León where it is grown Orange. Other fruits that are also cultivated are Lemon and pink grapefruit.
The traditional sweet of this municipality is Las glorias de Linares a sweet made of burnt milk which is very famous and sold in many places in the country and abroad.
If you come to Nuevo León, don't forget to visit Linares, a very beautiful town with a lot of history and tradition.

La plaza, el palacio municipal y su iglesia principal se llenan de Luces para dar bienvenida a el último mes del año. Un hermoso recorrido el cual visitan sus ciudadanos, turistas o gente que regresa con sus familiares en estas fechas.
Linares es una ciudad del estado de Nuevo León en México, nombrado Pueblo Mágico. Ubicado en la parte centro-sur-oriental del estado, dentro de la Región Citrícola.
También este municipio se distingue por los Tamborileros música regional con clarinete y tambora que se toca en eventos como bodas, XV años, bautizos, entre otros. En este recorrido los podemos ver tocar alrededor de la plaza principal y los cuales viajan en las cajas de algunas camionetas.
La region Cítricola es el área de Nuevo León donde se cosecha mucho la Naranja. Otras frutas que también se cultivan son el limón y la toronja.
El dulce tradicional de este municipio son Las glorias de Linares un dulce hecho de leche quemada el cual es muy famoso y vendido en muchos lugares del país y el extranjero.

Hey what is going on everybody. It is David or Nbtween and I am back with anothe episode we are going to travel from Monterrey to Linares to visit and celebrate a very special birthday of a great person who has turned 99 years and hse is one year shy of being on this beatiful earth of ours for a century.
Even though I was here for a day this place is a beatiful and peaceful place with a lot of history and a lot of culture. Watch the video as I take you to what in spanish is called Deposito or in english a drive thru. This is not your ordinary drive thru. This is a drive thru where you can go and get all types of drinks, food, mix drinks, etc. This is located in the center of the city and the owners also own a bar and a club that is down the street from the drive thru. I am sure if you pass by you can ask them where there other locations are at and you are able to go and sit down and refresh yourself with a cold beer and hot meal.
As the night starts to get closer and the day starts to disappear we prepare for what is going to be a party of a lifetime and great night with family and friends. This is something i will cherish for the rest of my life.
After the day is over I am stuck at the airport for 7 hours until I am able to fly home. something to be aware is that Viva will ask to see your negative covid exam and one other thing to note is that when i went through US Customs i was never asked about any covid exam.

Road Trip To San Miguel de Allende (Linares to SMA)
In February we took a week to work in San Miguel de Allende. We drove from Santiago, Nuevo Leon to Linares and crossed mountains via Galeana to San Roberto. We then headed down Hwy 57 to San Miguel de Allende. We stopped at several very nice rest stops that included popular restaurants, clean restrooms, gas stations, which are also good overnight boondocking sites. I hope you enjoy the scenery!
