Documentary Film taken from 2010 through 2012 of the REAL GERMANY that most people never see !
This Journey started in 1978 at the Englishtown flea market in New Jersey (USA) where I bought a box of photos for 2 dollars.
The Photos were of a German Man, (Rudolf Rudi Metze, Full name, Friedrich Wilhelm Rudolf Metze), His Family and his college Fraternity (Waffen brothers of Der BURSCHENSCHAFT ARMINIA AUF DEM BURGKELLER, JENA, the tradition of Mensur and the war years.
By trying to reconstruct the timeline of the photos, I became educated to its wonder and came to morn its loss as I had believed that except for these Photographs, it was gone forever... only to discover it was alive and well throughout Germany!
This is the REAL GERMANY as few have seen it! Its Honors, Traditions and commitment to excellence jump from the screen and beckon one to seek the many splendors that have made GERMANY the land that Men and Women are willing to live, fight and Die for !
