Hello dear friends, we made a video of our trip to La Malbaie, located in Charlevoix, Quebec. This is a must visit place if you're someone from Quebec, and enjoys nature. So, this was a last minute trip, but very needed! The Lord gave both of us some time off and we took advantage of it. We stayed at the Hotel-Pavillons-Spa Le Petit Manoir du Casino. We had excellent service and the accommodations were wonderful. 100% recommended!
If you're wondering what to do in this town, there's various national parks to visit, you can spend the day with huskies at the queen and the millionaire, or take a helicopter ride to see the beautiful view of the mountains.

Je te fais visiter la ville, le village, la plage ainsi que le Sentier des Planètes

En 1608 quand Samuel de Champlain découvre cette baie il se rend compte qu’elle est pleine de vase et décide donc de la nommer la mal baie (en 2 mots) c’est de là que provient son nom
Le village prend le statut de ville en 1958, d’autres petits villages y ont alors été fusionnés et aujourd’hui la ville est peuplée de plus de 9000 habitants.
Elle est tout de même assez petite et ce n’est qu’une fois le long du fleuve que l’on en apprécie le charme mais le réel point d’attrait se trouve au village Pointe au Pic
Pointe au Pic :
En effet cet endroit figure sur la liste des villages d’exceptions de la région
Il te faudras à peu près 30 minutes de marche à pieds en partant du point information pour t’y rendre
Il y a une première rue bordée de belles maisons avec au bout une belle église pourvue d’un incroyable grand cloché pointu, ensuite après avoir passé les rails dirige-toi vers la gauche puis à un moment descends une pente qui mène vers la baie car il y a une seconde partie du village avec une passerelle blanche en bois et un tas de maisonnettes colorées qui ressemblent à des jeux de construction, cette rue longe le chemin de fer et de la gare de La Malbaie
Tu ne manqueras pas de découvrir le super le petit bar/snack Chez Chantal, une incroyable petite maisonnette rose en bois authentique.
Plus loin en remontant sur les hauteurs (il y a un escalier au bout de la rue à droite après Chez Chantal tout à au bout sur la droite)
Tu arriveras au Manoir-Richelieu, un immense hôtel de luxe de 350 chambres
Tu trouveras à l’arrière du bâtiment le départ d’un sentier, le Sentier des Planètes.
Il te mènera en profondeur dans la forêt sur un chemin bien balisé
On y traverse une rivière et quelques cours d’eau, c’est très beau
Je te conseille de faire cette escale à La Malbaie et surtout à Pointe au Pic mais si tu n’as pas de temps ce n’est pas bien grave car ce n’est pas non plus inévitable
