We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Food and Culture in Veracruz | Acayucan & Oluta | La Llave del Sureste

Acayucan is a small city and Oluta is a small town in the southern part of the state of Veracruz, and the culture here is a blend of indigenous customs from all around the isthmus of Tehuantepec.

Explore prehispanic food and cultures in these two towns with us. This is also Kevin's first time back to the town where his mom grew up and also witnessed the marriage of his parents.

The 5 BEST Places To Visit In Central America

Let Asuaire Travel help you experience the most beautiful destinations in Central America! 👉

What Are The Best Places To Visit In Central America?

First of all, I want to state that the countries in Central America are Costa Rica Panama, Nicaragua Guatemala Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize. So you have six opportunities. If you have at least two weeks or start scratching your map and come to Central America six times, which would be awesome if you can do that.

0:50 Best Places To Visit In Central America #1: Costa Rica
Let's start with one of my favorites and the one that I'm currently located, which is Costa Rica, the land of Pura Vida. One of the best places to visit is Manuel Antonio, which is a national park. With fantastic beaches, so you have a little bit of everything.

The next place I love here in Costa Rica is the Arenal Volcano.
You can enjoy a full crater volcano with hot springs and enjoy a lot of Adventure like the canopy tour hanging Bridges.

You can do rafting then you can go to another place which I love that it's Monteverde. Monteverde is a cloud forest. It's a little bit more chilly, but it's a fantastic place to enjoy nature and relax in the Pura Vida of Costa Rica.

Then you can, of course, relax on the famous beaches of Guanacaste like Papagayo golf or Tamarindo fantastic Paradise for surfing.

1:50 Best Places To Visit In Central America #2
My next destination would be Nicaragua, where you can also enjoy premium surfing and fantastic food. In the areas of San Juan Del Sur and Granada, which is one of the best Colonial towns in Central America

2:08 Best Places To Visit In Central America #3: Guatemala
The other one that it's a beautiful Colonial Town is Antigua in Guatemala. This one is a must, and it's one of the Hidden gems that we have in Central America that you have to discover another place that I like.

If you're into the Mayan culture, Guatemala is one of the places that you must visit it. Little by little getting more well-known and it's just fantastic to explore the pyramids and get into the stories and the mysteries of what could have happened with this amazing culture.

2:41 Best Places To Visit In Central America #4: Belize
Another place that I love again is in beliefs if you like the beach and the diving or snorkeling or just relaxing on white sandy beaches, of course, you have all of the coasts of Belize where you can enjoy this. Go to Ramon's Village, for example, or staying in ambergris key, which is a fantastic place to get fresh seafood as well.

3:03 Best Places To Visit In Central America #5: Panama
Panama has a lot to offer not only the Panama Canal which is, of course, what a lot of people want to explore what it's like to cross from the Pacific to the Caribbean in just one day. It's a fantastic experience. But Panama offers a lot more you can have rainforest you have a lot of indigenous cultures that you can live and eat with them and learn about the little crafts that they do which are fantastic and Panama you have places like the Kuna Yala Islands.

You can rent a boat and drive around and sleep there in little huts or if you want to stay on a catamaran. It's a fantastic place to visit and also the famous Bocas del Toro in Panama, which is a surfers paradise and just pristine surfing and just relaxing depending on what you're looking for.

As you can see, Central America offers so much and I hope you're liking our videos and click here subscribe!

IS THIS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE YUCATAN PENINSULA? | Bacalar, Mexico 🇲🇽 (A Local's Guide)

Bacalar Mexico really did a number on us! We thought that after visiting Punta Allen we would have a hard time finding anything like it, but Bacalar did not disappoint! Sure, it's not as secluded as a remote fishing village, but Bacalar offers the perfect balance between local and traveler friendly.

The Bacalar lagoon, known as the seven color lagoon is one of the most INCREDIBLE places we've ever seen, and in today's video we share how to watch the most beautiful sunrise from the lagoon (on your own) and the more local side of Bacalar. We were pleasantly surprised to find so many authentic Mexican restaurants in Bacalar!

We hope this beautiful place stays this way! If interested on how to explore Bacalar and all the things to do in Bacalar with costs, links and reviews checkout this post:

Xel-Ha- Aquatic Park in Riviera Maya- Guide & Review

Get your Xel-Ha tickets here & save up to 15% for booking in advance:

A review & guide to Xel-Ha, based on my recent visit.

About Xel-Ha:
Xel-Ha is an eco park located in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. Its main draw is water activities like snorkeling, tubing, cliff jumping, and water slides. They also have several things to see and do above water, including a playground for children. Your ticket includes unlimited food & drinks. Xel-Ha is just the right mix of excitement & relaxation, and the park is really beautiful, which is why I recommend Xel-Ha to people of all ages.

There are several eco parks in the Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Riviera Maya, and Tulum areas of Mexico, but Xel-Ha is easily one of the best. The park is owned by Grupo Xcaret, which operates several of the top tours and parks in Cancun & the Riviera Maya.

I made this video to show you what to expect, and also give you some tips to help you get the most out of your visit. If you have any questions about Xel-Ha, leave a comment below and I'll respond. Thanks for watching!

The Yucatan Peninsula’s Most UNDERRATED City!!

Have you heard of Valladolid? It's a hidden gem! In this vlog, we experience its rich culture, mouthwatering food, incredible history, & local products.
►Start learning Spanish:

We spent one week in Valladolid, Yucatan to find out why this little town is designated a Pueblo Magico (Magic Town) in Mexico. We quickly discovered that Valladolid, located about 2 hours away from Merida, has a LOT that makes it special. For instance, the absolutely crave-worthy Yucatecan cuisine like longaniza de Valladolid, Pok Chuc, Cochinita Pibil, Agua de Chaya, Panuchos, Marqueitas, and many other dishes.

Valladolid has a lot of history behind it, too. Some of that is visible in the impressive buildings, some of which date back to the 1500s! Even our Airbnb was quite unique. The building, now turned into a loft-style apartment, was built sometime in the 1700s. Here's the link to our rental:

Also in this Mexico travel vlog, we experience a breathtaking cenote right underneath the city! This is one of many freshwater sinkholes that can be found in the Yucatan Peninsula. And finally, Valladolid is known for a few handmade products, some of which are made out of local leather. Maddie found some real leather huaraches (sandals) at a local market for an almost unbelievable price.
