Ho Chi Minh Historical Site, Udon Thani, Thailand
During 1928 and 1929, Ho Chi Mihn used the jungle around Hong Hang village as one of his bases to train soldiers and rally Isan's sizeable Vietnamese community for his resistance against the French occupation of Vietnam. Go by the road no. 2263 (Towards Kut Chap). There will be lots of english signs to get you there. It is approx. 10 km. from Udon Thani.

Because of market is too big, and also at that moment I am busy in shopping, so only manage to shot the street view beside the building, and this street is Montri 2 Road. Big Market is one of the biggest morning market in Hatyai, at here you can get what you plan to buy, no matter is food, use or wear items.

Eat: RONG NOM Hatyai Cafe in the Heart of Hatyai City, Thailand [Closed]
[Update Nov 2023 - Sadly the RONG NOM Hatyai Cafe is permanently closed as shared by a commentor]
Before making our way to the train station and head back to Malaysia, we stopped by Rong Nom Hatyai (sometimes known as Rong Num too) for an early lunch since it was located very nearby our hotel where we placed our luggage at the lobby after checking out.
Rong Nom stood out with their cottage outlook and as we walked past, the wonderful aroma of basil greeted us hence we decided to have our lunch there. Browsing through their homely menu, we quickly realized how reasonable their prices were prior to putting in our order.
Overall, it was a great lunch and I personally wish we weren't in such a hurry as we would have ordered and sampled more of their dishes.

Cheraw dance - the traditional mass bamboo dance of Mizoram performed on the occasion of Anthurium Festival 2013 at Reiek Village, 20kms away from Aizwal.
The Anthurium Festival is a 3 day-long event organized every year in September by the State govt. of Mizoram with the aim to promote tourism in the state and also encourage Anthurium cultivation in Mizoram. It is a very popular festival and has slowly become one of the most prominent tourism festivals of the North East region.
The Anthurium Festival is celebrated every year at the tourist resort in Reiek Village at the foothills of the mystic Reiek Mountain. Set in an idyllic and mystic location about 20kms away from Aizwal, the capital city of Mizoram, the serene and tranquil beauty of Reiek Village adds an amazing charm to the beautiful Anthurium Festival. Beautiful Anthurium flowers grown in Mizoram are put on display and sold during the Anthurium Festival and tours to amazing Anthurium plantations are also conducted during the 3days. What started as a way of promoting tourism and the amazing homegrown Anthurium flowers in Mizoram has slowly become one of the most anticipated festivals for tourists both from within and outside the country.
Anthurium Festival is also a festive event where all the various Mizo tribes get to come together and showcase their amazing cultures and traditions. The 3 day-long celebrations are marked by a colorful display of various Mizo cultures and traditions; indigenous games and sports, mouth-watering traditional Mizo delicacies, folk songs and dances, traditional methods of harvesting and cooking, handicrafts etc. Various local products of Mizoram like fruit juices, pickles, handicrafts, handloom items, bamboo products etc are also put on display and sold during the festival. Fashion shows and music concerts highlighting the talented Mizos are also an important aspect of the Anthurium Festival.
Anthurium Festival, for a tourist, is indeed a great festive moment to enjoy the vibrant diversity of Mizoram. A festival that not only highlights the tourism potential of the state but also showcases the amazing culture and tradition of the Mizos, the Anthurium Festival is a must attend.

With the request from a netizen I spent a day in Seremban featuring their best food. Although featuring 11 outlets can’t fully represent all their best but these 11 outlets can give you a good idea on how good Seremban food is. I must thank some of my Seremban friends, especially Miss Ho who made this episode possible, without them my task would been extremely difficult. Because of time constraint you will notice that I used old and borrowed footages, nevertheless the result is still compelling, hope you’ll like it. Gway jab (or kuay jab) is the stewed five spice pork broth with rolled rice noodles. Ingredients include boiled egg, crispy pork, and spring onions for garnish. The dish costs about $1.
The dish is a derivative of bak kut teh (bah-kut-teh) which basically translates as pork tea and is still common in Singapore and Malaysia, especially in old school teochew communities.
Note: Dwight also added 'kanom jeeb' dumplings to his bowl because he's greedy like that. They are not normally included in a bowl of kuay jap.

Wat Pha Nam Yoi Isan Thailand Part 1

Situated on top of a big hill in Roi Et province, close to the border with Mukdahan is the vast Wat Pha Nam Yoi. Otherwise known as Isan Buddhist Park, it is the site of the largest pagoda in Thailand named Phra Maha Chedi Chaimongkon. This truly magnificent temple enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. This colossal structure is said to be the dream of an Abbott in a nearby village.
