In Northern Sweden right at the Baltic Sea lies a region called the Ångermanland or Höga Kusten. Here you can enjoy beautiful landscapes, stunning architecture, stony cliffs and small villages with many red wooden houses. In my video I'll show you the best places to visit at Sweden's high coast.

1. Stockholm:
Stockholm is the capital and most populous urban area of Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. Stockholm is the cultural, media, political, and economic centre of Sweden. 975904 people live in the municipality approximately 1.6 million in the urban area and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.
2. Gamla Stan (The Old Town):
Gamla Stan until 1980 officially Staden mellan broarna (The Town between the Bridges), is the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Gamla stan consists primarily of the island Stadsholmen. Officially Gamla stan includes the surrounding islets Riddarholmen, Helgeandsholmen and Strömsborg. All of Gamla Stan and the adjacent island of Riddarholmen are like a living pedestrian-friendly museum full of sights, attractions, restaurants, cafés, bars, and places to shop.
3. Höga Kusten (High Coast):
The High Coast is a part of the coast of Sweden on the Gulf of Bothnia, in the Ångermanland province of northeast Sweden, centered in the area of the municipalities of Kramfors, Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. It is notable as an area for research on post-glacial rebound and eustacy, in which the land rises as the covering glaciers melt, a phenomenon first recognised and studied there. Since the last ice age, the land has risen 300 meters, which accounts for the region's unusually tall cliffs.
4. The Drottningholm Palace ( Drottningholms slott)
The Drottningholm Palace ( Drottningholms slott) is the private residence of the Swedish royal family. It is one of Sweden's Royal Palaces. It is located in Drottningholm. Built on the island Lovön in Ekerö Municipality of Stockholm County. It was originally built in the late 16th century and it served as a regular summer residence of the Swedish royal court for most of the 18th century. It is a private residence of the Swedish royal family and also the palace is a popular tourist attraction.
5. Abisko:
Abisko is a village in Sápmi (Lapland), in northern Sweden, roughly 250 km within the Arctic Circle, and near Abisko National Park, located 4 km west of the village. Filmen visar stationen Strängnäs. Filmen visar några tåg, stationen samt lite av stationens omgivningar.
Den gamla stationen, byggd i trä 1895, låg i slutet av en bibana till Norra Södermanlands Järnväg och var då en säckstation. 1960 var ett nytt stationshus i tegel färdigt och det gamla revs.
När Svealandsbanan öppnade 1997, så öppnade också en ny station på platsen för den nuvarande. Den nya stationen byggdes om 2018 i samband med att stationen försågs med ytterligare ett spår så att tågmöten kunde ske.
Filmen spelades in i augusti 2021.

Der Nationalpark Hamra, befindet sich in der Gemeinde Ljusdal in der Orsa Finnmark, in etwa der Mitte Schwedens.
