Visit the Volta Region with Easy Track Ghana
The Volta Region occupies the area of Ghana east of Volta Lake and the Volta River, bordering the country of Togo. From great beaches along the coast to the lush highlands inland, this is a beautiful and friendly area to visit in Ghana. Be certain to visit the monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome, Ghana's highest waterfalls, or one of the famous Kente cloth weaving villages - Tafi Abuipe or Kpetoe.
Woe Lighthouse, Volta Region - Ghana
The Cape St. Paul lighthouse located at Woe in the a very unique landmark, not only in Ghana, but also the world.
It is made completely of metal, the only other lighthouse to share this feature is the Alpena Lighthouse in the United States of America.
Built in 1901 to direct ships away from an under-ocean mountain, this is also the the oldest lighthouse in Ghana.
