Sunyani West District is one of the twelve districts in Bono Region, Ghana.Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Sunyani District on 10 March 1989; until the northwest part of the district was split off to create Sunyani West District on 1 November 2007 (effectively 29 February 2008); thus the remaining part has been retained as Sunyani District (which it was later upgraded to municipal district assembly status and has been renamed as Sunyani Municipal District on that same year).
The district assembly is located in the western part of Bono Region and has Odumase as its capital town.

Sea turtle released at Ilaje Fishing village Badagry
This is an unedited and raw video of a captured sea turtle been bought and rescued from it's catchers and released back into the atlantic ocean at Ilaje Fishing village, Gberefu, Badagry in Lagos state.
The effort brought a reorientation to the mind of the community as they ask numerous questions. They even ask why we have to pay them to free the Sea turtle. It is important to know that people need environmental education and are willing to comply to the preservation of the eco system if orientated or educated like we did at Ilaje Fishing village, Badagry. Sofer Initiative is building a Hub Net at Ilaje Fishing village in collaboration with Anago James Akeem Osho Adventures, who serves as Project Supervisor. The project will add colour to Ilaje Fishing village Badagry as an eco tourist attraction.
