STICKWORK at HOLDEN ARBORETUM in KIRTLAND, OHIO by PATRICK DOUGHERTY!
The kids and I visit The Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio to see Stickwork (Tilt-a-Whirl) by artist Patrick Dougherty. It is a whimsical outdoor sculpture made of willow branches. Patrick Dougherty is an internationally renowned artist who has made over 300 Stickwork sculptures all over the world. This is Dougherty's first sculpture in Northeast Ohio. The willow branch sculpture will be on display at the arboretum for a little over a year. After about a year, mother nature start to reclaim the art to the earth.
After admiring Patrick's outdoor art, we enjoy the rest of The Holden Arboretum. It is one of the biggest arboretums in the United States at 3,600 acres and 600 of the acres are gardens. We like to play in the many lakes and catch frogs.

A Hike Amongst the Trees | Emergent Tower & Canopy Walk at Holden Aboretum | Kirtland, OH
Holden Arboretum, in Lake and Geauga Counties, is home of one of the largest botanical gardens in the US. A walk through the extraordinarily well-kept arboretum grounds allows one to observe a diverse range of native and exotic flora. There are also unpaved hiking trails that wind through the woods surrounding the garden areas.
The two most popular attractions in Holden Arboretum are the Kalberer Emergent Tower and the Murch Canopy Walk. The Emergent Tower is a 222 step climb up a 12 story structure that takes hikers above the tree canopy. The observation floor at the top of the tower offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, especially during the colorful fall season.
The Canopy Walk is a 500 foot long set of suspended bridges that run in a triangular pattern through the tree canopy, 65 feet above ground level. It provides hikers a unique view of the surrounding forest.
The day ended with a sunset on Breakwater Beach, in nearby Geneva State Park.
As of publication of this video, admission into Holden Arboretum is $10 for adults and $4 for children (4-18). Tickets for the Emergent Tower & Canopy Walk are an additional $4 for adults and $2 for children.

Great Getaways Huron Shores Circle Tour [06] Lakewood Shores Golf Resort
Location: Jack Pines of the Huron National Forest
The endangered Kirtland's warbler is one of the rarest members of the wood warbler (Parulidae) family. It is a bird of unusual interest for many reasons. It nests in just a few counties in Michigan's northern Lower and Upper peninsulas, in Wisconsin and the province of Ontario and, currently, nowhere else on Earth.
Historic Nauvoo
In 1839, early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—called “Mormons”—established this place of peace and beauty on a great bend in the Mississippi River. Today, Nauvoo is one of America’s premier historic communities. Visitors can explore more than 30 historic sites from the 1839-1846 time period all year long!

Many have tried to replicate it over the years but it is never quite the same. Apostle Islands, WI I recommend the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, the scenic archipelago in northern Wisconsin, at the southern tip of Lake Superior. It’s a heaven for outdoor lovers and for those who are looking for a quiet vacation spot in the Midwest.
Sandia Base was the principal nuclear weapons installation of the United States Department of Defense from 1946 to 1971. It was located on the southeastern edge of Albuquerque, New Mexico. For 25 years, the top-secret Sandia Base and its subsidiary installation, Manzano Base, carried on the atomic weapons research, development, design, testing, and training commenced by the Manhattan Project during World War II. Fabrication, assembly, and storage of nuclear weapons was also done at Sandia Base. The base played a key role in the United States nuclear deterrence capability during the Cold War. In 1971 it was merged into Kirtland Air Force Base. Please keep watching the video for more Secret Places In The US you need to know.
