Buland Darwaza in Fatehpur Sikri, Highest Gateway in the World | One Minute Travel Facts
Buland Darwaza also known as the Door of victory, was built in 1601 A.D. by Mughal emperor Akbar. It is the main entrance to the Jama Masjid at Fatehpur Sikri.
Buland Darwaza was not a part of the original design of the Jama Masjid, It was constructed to commemorate his victory over Gujarat.
Buland Darwaza is the highest gateway in the world and is a best example of Mughal architecture. It is made of red sandstone, decorated by White and Black Marble. It is symmetrical and is topped by large free standing kiosks, which are also known as the chhatris. The total height of the structure is about 54 metre from the ground level.
It is a 15-storied high gateway acting as the southern entrance of the city of Fatehpur Sikri. The approach to the gate consists of 42 steps. It is semi octagonal in plan with two smaller triple-storeyed wings on either side. It has three kiosks on its top surrounded by thirteen smaller domed kiosks

On my first visit to Agra recently I was surprised to hear Bhagwan Talkies,the name of a popular cinema hall in Agra.Bhagwan means God,so God talking is a strange conception to contemplate and so is buying a Bus ticket to it.
If you stay near Cantt. Railway Station,you get several Low floor A.C. Buses and normal Buses too that operates from there to Bhagwan Talkies.Inter State Bus Terminal is located just few kilometers from Bhagwan Talkies.I stayed at Ranjeet Hotel in Cantt.and the manager there guided me to take a Auto or Taxi that takes just six Rs to drop you from Bhagwan Talkies to I.S.B.T..Lucknowites can take Bus if they miss Agra Lucknow Intercity Express that departs from Cantt Railway Station at 6:10.
And on the road adjacent to the Talkies is located the Best Petha Sweet Shop in town that is Panchi Petha which has dozens of varieties of exotic Petha exclusive to the city of Agra,and your visit is incomplete without purchasing several types of this delicious sweet.
Many Restaurants and Hotels lie opposite to Bhagwan Talkies and a Fly-over runs Parallel to the Cinema Hall just above the Road adjacent to it.

Achhnera is located at 27.18°N 77.77°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 167 metres (547 feet). It is famous for its cultural values; people of different religions live here. There are many temples which have historic values. Achhnera comes under Tehsil Kiraoli. It is reachable through Agra Jaipur Highway. The city is connected by rail to Agra, Jaipur, Kanpur and Mathura.
