Greetings!
Newquay, Cornwall unitary authority, southwestern England. It is located at the southern end of Watergate Bay on the Atlantic Ocean coast and at the head of the River Gannel estuary.
Sandy beaches, aquamarine seas and a laid-back surfing culture are only three of the reasons you’ll want to visit the vibrant seaside town of Newquay. While surfers have their boards permanently waxed and ready to ride the huge Atlantic waves crashing into the sandy shores at Fistral and the nearby Watergate Bay, holiday-makers from all over the country are packing their suitcases, ready to not only enjoy the fabulous beaches on offer but all the things to do in Newquay such as amazing walking, fun festivals and family-friendly attractions in and around the area.
The town is almost entirely a modern seaside resort, having grown since the mid-19th century from a small fishing village. It stands on cliffs overlooking sandy beaches and is sheltered from the Atlantic by Towan Head. Situated on Towan Head is the Huer’s Hut, which was built in the mid-19th century but reflects a local fishing tradition that is believed to date to the 14th century.
Newquay Zoo is set within 13 acres of lush tropical gardens, just a short stroll from Newquay town centre. During your visit you can get close to dozen of the world’s rarest and endangered animals, whilst also learning about the conservation work carried out by the zoo.

Kilbirnie To Largs, Ayrshire Scotland (8may2011) Nokia 6303
There's a windfarm (Kelburn Windfarm), under construction on the road between Largs to Kilbirnie. I'm all in favour of renewable energy, but I think windfarms destroy the scenery. I do accept however that we need them.
I decided to record the journey along the road over two clips, travelling both ways along the road as I have no idea just how big an impact the windfarm will have on the landscape.
