The stars and the film's director Karan Johar shared glimpses of the first day of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani shoot on social media early morning and thrilled the Internet. In the clip, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh can be seen getting ready for their respective roles while Karan Johar guides them on set. We also get a glimpse of Alia Bhatt's look in the film - dressed in a saree and sporting a bindi. Along with the cast and crew members, the clip also features fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Sharing the video, Karan Johar wrote: The day is finally here and I have so many feelings going on in my head but what emerges at the top is - gratitude! Gadh Mukteshwar famous as Gadh Ganga is a holy place near Delhi. it is around 90 KMs from Delhi. Pilgrims come here for a holy dip in Ganga River and visit some old temples here. You can also enjoy boating at Gadh Ganga for Rs 100 to 200 per head.

'गढ़मुक्तेश्वर' राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली से १०० किलोमीटर दूर 'राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 9' पर बसा है। गढ़मुक्तेश्वर मेरठ से 42 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है और गंगा नदी के दाहिने किनारे पर बसा है। विकास की दृष्टि से गढ़मुक्तेश्वर सबसे पिछड़ी तहसील मानी जाती है, किन्तु सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्त्वपूर्ण है। यहाँ कार्तिक पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर लगने वाला गंगा स्नान पर्व उत्तर भारत का सबसे बड़ा मेला माना जाता है।
शिवपुराण के अनुसार, यहाँ पर अभिशप्त शिवगणों की पिशाच योनि से मुक्ति हुई थी, इसलिए इस तीर्थ का नाम 'गढ़मुक्तेश्वर' अर्थात् 'गणमुक्तेश्वर (गणों को मुक्त करने वाले ईश्वर) नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुआ।

गजरौला भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के अमरोहा ज़िले में स्थित एक नगर और नगरपालिका बोर्ड है। गजरौला, गजरौला प्रखंड का मुख्यालय भी है। यह NH 9 पर स्थित है, जो उत्तराखंड और बरेली और लखनऊ जैसे शहरों को दिल्ली से जोड़ने वाला चार लेन का राजमार्ग है। यह उत्तर प्रदेश का एक महत्वपूर्ण औद्योगिक शहर है जिसमें कुछ नामित बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियां जैसे जुब्लिएंट लाइफ साइंसेज, आरएसीएल गियरटेक, इज़राइली फार्मा तेवा एपीआई आदि और महत्वपूर्ण उच्च शिक्षण संस्थान जैसे श्री वेंकटेश्वर विश्वविद्यालय और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज हैं। आसपास के प्रमुख शहर मुरादाबाद, मेरठ, बुलंदशहर, बदायूं, हापुड़ और दिल्ली एनसीआर हैं।
गजरौला भारतीय रेलवे के माध्यम से अच्छी तरह से जुड़ा हुआ है। गजरौला रेलवे स्टेशन गजरौला-नजीबाबाद, दिल्ली-लखनऊ लाइन पर स्थित है और सभी यात्री ट्रेनें और कुछ एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनें यहां रुकती हैं। वाराणसी, इलाहाबाद, दिल्ली, जयपुर, अहमदाबाद आदि स्थानों के लिए ट्रेनें हैं।
गजरौला सड़क परिवहन के माध्यम से बहुत अच्छी तरह से जुड़ा हुआ है। यह NH-9 पर स्थित है जो AH2 भी है। यह एसएच 51 के माध्यम से भी जुड़ा हुआ है जो बदायूं-हरिद्वार राजमार्ग है। हर मिनट दिल्ली और बरेली के लिए एक बस है।
शहर में पर्यावरण के अनुकूल ई-रिक्शा और ऑटो के माध्यम से आवागमन होता है।

कार्तिक पूर्णिमा पर उत्तर प्रदेश में गढ़मुक्तेश्वर क्षेत्र में गंगा के दोनों ओर बड़ा भारी मेला लगता है। गंगा के पश्चिम में यानी हापुड़ जिले में पड़ने वाले मेले को गढ़ गंगा मेला कहा जाता है और पूर्व में यानी अमरोहा जिले में पड़ने वाले मेले को तिगरी गंगा मेला कहते हैं।
लोग कार्तिक पूर्णिमा से 5-7 दिन पहले ही यहाँ आकर तंबू लगा लेते हैं और यहीं रहते हैं। गंगा के दोनों ओर 10-10 किलोमीटर तक तंबुओं का विशाल महानगर बन जाता है। जिस स्थान पर मेला लगता है, वहाँ साल के बाकी दिनों में कोई भी नहीं रहता, कोई रास्ता भी नहीं है। वहाँ मानसून में बाढ़ आती है।

Garhmukteshwar Ganga Ghat beyond Meerut is the closest one gets to the Ganges river when coming from Delhi, for Ganga darshan or asthi visarjan, as the case may be. The need for asthi visarjan has gone up greatly after Covid19 and this makes for a shorter journey than going all the way to Haridwar.
Boats zip up and down the river from the Garhmukteshwar brudge, with many people busily performing ablutions and offering prayers and offerings to the river eternal. Others can be seen with packets and bags emptying out the ashes and remains of family members lost during the Covid19 second wave which continues to rampage through north India.
