Longwood Gardens Spring Blooms and Rare Flowers | The best in the Brandywine Valley, Kennett Square
We travel back to Kennett Square, PA to visit Longwood Gardens as they enter the Spring season. Just ahead of our visit, their rare Himalayan blue-poppies burst into bloom so we start our visit in the Conservatory to take in the beauty (and smells) of everything Spring has to offer.
Longwood Gardens is a great place to visit in any season, but there is something special about seeing the gardens come alive with color and the emergence of butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Additionally, its located in the picturesque #BrandywineValley and is a short drive from Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, PA and worth the drive from Baltimore, MD and DC!
